So I finally got the time to read this one in depth and at leisure. Nicely done though I am very glad for your section breaks as I couldn't do it all in one sitting. I especially liked the Donnelly cat fight line and the EDI line about being screwed. Personally, I think Donnelly is owed his own story :p

THIS is why Mass Effect 2 is such an epic game. The "Suicide Run" is AWESOME!

This chapter was great, kind of disappointing that you focused on the rest of the crew rather than Shepard's team. It was a nice change though. Everybody has a point of view.

Loved the humor: "Ah hell! The oven tore right out of the bulkhead!" that actually seems like a mercy on the crew. I too noticed the similarity of the Human-Reaper to the Terminator, though I'm usually too busy trying not to die to laugh about it.

Damn fine story that was. damn fine.

Just finished reading the story. It's nice how you gave Shepard a somewhat "light-hearted" personality instead of being a pure badass. Miranda's development is well-done too. Now I got the urge to replay both games, yet again.

I also must commend you for what you did in chapter 9. Space hamster for the glorious win!

I did kind of wonder how Liara would react to the revelation that the Collectors were once Protheans. Nice use of it. And seems that the scale-itch outbreak is an ongoing mystery.

I've been out of the fic biz for a bit, but decided to try my hand again and I'm glad I came by to look. This is a great start to the story and I'm looking forward to reading the rest.

Well... quite interesting. Still suggest putting some sort of separator between perspective changes. Rest seems like a plausible series of events and its probably the most air time I've seen Chambers get. Like the beautiful person line though I think Shep deserves it more than Chambers. Let's see how the saga of the scale works out. Oh ... nice touch also with the lucite :)

You know, I always wondered who would build the still on the new Normandy (It's a naval tradition you know).

I envisioned a scene in which Admiral Hackett comes aboard the new Normandy for a tour. The first thing he does after saying hello to Shepard, Tali and Garrus is go straight for the liquor.

I never bought the hamster actually. I was content with watching my fish. They're actually really easy too, just feed them ever time your on the Normandy and they won't die (I found that out the hard way).

Nice to see Tali on the crew at last. Until recruiting her I had felt that the new Normandy was seriously lacking in the Engineering Dept., plus she has some dialogue to add when you buy those FBA couplings for Gabby and Ken.

I wonder how the rest of the crew will react to her?

F-ing awesome story. Can't wait to read more. What class is Shepard, btw?
