Dende had a lot of great moments in the Buu saga, and that was definitely one of them. Though my theory on Namekian eating is different. Me and my sister decided that just because they don't *need* to eat doesn't mean that they *can't* eat. We even have an inside joke that Piccolo sneaks chicken wings. He's, like, addicted. They're his favorite.
