I love this. One readon I prefer Star Trek over StarWars is the awesomeness of politics, and this story is just perfect in that aspect. Been reading for 3hrs straight, but I honestly can't stop!

This was just so much fun to read! You're so evil, though, pulling me away from a teacher's lecture...I'm lucky I didn't burst out laughing in the middle of it.

But seriously, this was great. You have a gift! And now I'm off to read the one that came before this...Favorite chapter of this one? I believe it was 8 that gave the blow-by-blow of the mission where the nitrogen dust broke Spock's shields. Two thumbs up!

lol very cool story. great job with all the action scenes (i never feel like i do those well lol) and still keeping htings light and humorous while still getting across the seriousness of the various situations as well. and i loved the slow growing realtionship between spock and kirk (and spock's illogical jealousy of prime-even if he won't admit to it lol). and you did such a great job weaving together all the various little plots into the one big major cover-up that was going on. wonderful work :D

just a small thing, everytime i read "carcass" in regards to the person's body, i wince. while technically correct, most people call dead people corpses or possibly at the most cadavers (though usually i've only heard/seen that to be the case in medical usage), carcass is usually used for animal remains

just a small thing, about the time you started typing the vulcan journalist's take on things, you started getting a lot of spelling errors, mostly minor things (like Pick instead of Pike) but some of them make it a little difficult to read in spots

I don't think I've ever read such an off character Spock before. Hell, half the crew is way off character. The most of them are so unprofessional it's wonder any of them has a job. I can't fathom the reasoning for the character butchering and wonder how good this story may have actually been if you hadn't gutted the characters so badly.

You had their relationship develop in so many quiet moments. I don't think I've ever read a ST fic that handled it quite like yours did. :-)

This is possibly one of the best Star Trek fics I've ever read. It was lengthy, gripping and easy to just sink my teeth into and enjoy the ride. I love how you managed to transform something deceptively easy to remedy, like a communications breakdown into something so intense and political. And the fact that you managed to work with this for a good 29 chapters just shows how great of a writer you are. I was thoroughly engaged in this story and I'm always glad to find treasures like these because they're a huge contribution to the fanfiction community. :) Awesome job!

This story is amazing! I love it.

This is awesome! So much romance has no decent plot. You may have lost me somewhere on the Councilpeople and the Admiralty, but I think I'll be all right if I read/watch/listen to a little more canon first, and maybe take notes. You have some wonderful sentences that make me laugh and go, I wish that was my sentence! Which, I guess, is something only a writer would understand. Also, I love your K/S. Slow building, but with both of them perfectly aware what's happening, none of this awkward "He can never feel the same way" or "I thought you were with Uhura" stuff that crops up in so many other K/S stories.

Wow. This was great. I really enjoyed all of the fluff and Spock's blushes were especially adorable. You really kept them busy though. Poor Jim seemed to really get the short end of the stick almost constantly. I'm exceedingly glad that it all worked out in the end. :D
