This is a fairly good story but I do have several issues. First of which is that you need to find a way to separate different scenes as well as different actions within the same scene. One of my suggestions for this is to add something like '~&~' or something similar. That is what I usually do. Or add an underline or a series of dashes. That helps and let's your readers know that a different scene or action follows.

Next comes my big gripes about this story.

First, and this is canon (I hate that term) as of the graphic novel Prelude to the Shadow Chronicles. Lisa was not aboard the SDF-3 when it was lost. Due to injuries sustained during Edwards' attack, Lisa had miscarried her and Rick's child and had either retired or resigned. Lisa was on Tirol as a member of the Plenipotentiary Council.

Next, I mentioned it in an earlier review: Dana and Maia should not be the same rank. Last we heard of Dana, she was at Space Station Liberty talking to I think either Jack Archer or the officer who took over Wolf Squadron. Though we don't know for sure, it is possible that Dana is aboard the SDF-3 because of Maia's statement to Marcus that her entire family is aboard the SDF-3.

Third, the main species that made up the Sentinel's were: the Karbarrans, the Haydonites, the Garudans, the Praxians, the Spherisians, and the Perytonians. When you mentioned Carbonites, I'm assuming you mean Karbarrans.

Finally, your theory that Ariel and Sera cannot become pregnant by a human us false. At the end of the movie 'Love, Live, Alive', Sera is a few months pregnant with Lancer's child.

Other than those gripes, this story is actually pretty good. I do have one non-canon point to add: According to the now relegated to secondary or tertiary canon Robotech novel 'The End of the Circle', Angelo Dante remained an enlisted man and was dating the Praxian Princess Gnea. Gnea was in the midst of taking over the Queenship of the Praxian Sisterhood from her 'mother' Queen Bela (who'd become Queen after the combat death of her 'mother' Queen Arla-non during the Sentinel's Campaign).

Now I don't know if you're pairing Dana and Dante up (they did get together for awhile but I think it fell by the wayside) or if you're keeping Dana single.

However, if you do need a character to pair Dana up with instead of Dante, you can use my character Kieran Kravshera, the son of Khyron and Azonia. I created him many years ago. As of my latest RT story (a crossover) he's an REF captain in command of an Icarus-class ship and former Shadow Alpha pilot and Squadron Commander (he was the latest CO of the squadron of Zentraedi veritech pilots trained by Max Sterling during the Zentraedi Rebellion. He and Dana are the same age but months apart)

I think Dana would be higher in Rank than Maia. Dana should at least be a Lieutenant Colonel instead of a Major. With both sisters at the same basic rank (O-4), you're just asking for trouble. Though Dana would be senior than Maia, it would've been better to have the equivalent rank as Scott Bernard, i.e., O-5. (A Naval Commander is the same rank as an Army/Air Force Lieutenant Colonel. Maia, as a Lieutenant Commander is the same rank as a Major).

THis is a good start. In later stories, try to come up with a real reason for the Haydonites betrayal. They don't do that in the movie. Anyway, hope to see the sequel soon.

Great save by the Invid. Question now becomes why they /are/ helping, and what more they might want later for it, since that also could be worrisome. Still, if the idea works, and the settlement isn't a problem, it could definitely benefit both groups. If enough cooperation can be achieved, they might be able to lower the boundaries in the future. Hmm... *scratches head* That would be pretty far in the future though. hehe. Still, the last line gives cause to worry and sweat wondering what it means. hehe :) Awesome new wrinkle. :)

GREAT ENDING! (*x4) Sad to see the ending of this story, but looking forward to the sequel. Now the hard part of wars, rebuilding, the lands, cities, and living being life.
