Oh man... I'm not sure if I liked this one. It started off so nice, warm and fun, reflective and a little mysterious and then the "sensative material" sledgehammer shattered the light mood so quick and unexpectedly. It really crushed me at the same time, especially because of who the victim was. It was written terrifically though. I really loved how each interaction with Dean contained these little hints and questions Sam was noticing. Like how you managed to explain things without so much as telling it but rather expressing it through actions or abstract thoughts or with reduced detail to allow the reader to paint their own version of the picture. I do like that the two reunited, granted under heartbreaking curcumsatnces. But I liked that Sam realized how much he missed Dean and Dean needed him. Super sad but amazing work! :,,,D

I read this story often. It's always just as beautiful as the time before.

Oh my god... this started out so sweet and then it got kinda dark but in a good way and I love that Sam finally worked out what was wrong with Dean (with his roommate's help, even!) and how many new friends you gave sam. basically what I[m saying is its perfect

This story is absolutely incredible. Seriously. You have such an incredible talent for writing, and the plot and the characters were all done so, unbelievably well. I'm definitely going to be reading this story again.

This is just so good but undeniably heartbreaking at the end of it all. The whole time I could really feel the characters; you do such a great job of capturing these two! Especially their connection as brothers and Sam's initial unwillingness to reconcile his brother as a victim.

Very insightful story. But Sam didn't leave Dean. He left the hunting life. John did leave Dean. He was not there for Dean but Sam was always there at least the times when it mattered as you've portrayed so eloquently in your story. Thank you for writing it...

I really think you actually showed Dean's reaction here. So many people have him completely break down when things happen. He never shows that in the show. He just needs his brother, which is exactly what you did. Great writing
