After reading many stories in this fandom, this has a slightly more interesting but albeit more cliche plot. In my opinion, the good stories and the best stories are separated by how well Alex is written. I think you have done a good job at portraying the teenager in him but the vampire side does not seem threatening when it was portrayed under a sexual light, in short Alex did not seem lethal. I also believe that the best Alex's have a certain cleverness and cunning around them and I just don't feel it as I felt it in horowitz' series. Of course, I'm not demanding that you have to be as good as Horowitz but it would certainly be more appealing if many Alex's weren't written as helpless 15 year old boys trapped by MI6. I saw hope when Alex tried to call the soldiers bluff to reveal his identity to see how MI6 respond, but moving forward, would it be interesting to see Alex become more proactive, explorative and participate in some possible power play with MI6?

So good can't wait for more.

Man things just got worse. Hopefully all this will end pretty soon, I don't think Alex can take much more. I am surprised no one seems to notice what's going on! Seriously, with how many time Cub and the other two follow him around (mostly) someone ought to have noticed...right?

Great chapter, as usual. I'm so excited for the next one! I don't know how Alex is going to deal with this situation, it really seems like he doesn't have very many options left. But then, as you said, "faced with two incredibly unpleasant options, Alex Rider chose the third." Which just goes to show Alex tends to blaze his own path rather than picking from any of those laid out before him.

And now I am internally screaming! :) I CAN SEE HOPE FOR MORE CLOSURE~ :) So excited!

Tiger is such a creep, my lord, but you've made him a plausible monster, a coherent character, as well as a slimy jerk, which is even worse.
Alex is going to grow WIIINGS. Words, in or out of caps lock, are insufficient to express my excitement. Winged Alex at Brecon Beacons is all I want in life. Excellent! As always. I loved the passage in the tunnel- quite right, Alex's experiences haven't made him stronger, they've just left scars, and I think you articulated that beautifully. (My only note is that sergeant, in my understanding, ought to be spelled with an e, unless we're talking about the portrait painter, though I'm not sure if that's a difference due to my being in America and you being elsewhere or not).
