I've never read your stuff before Scout, but it seems to me you have a talent for description, now all you need to do is work on the plot! Very very detailed and good description, not so much on the action part. A little cliche at the end, but overall, not bad!

I love how you've captured the atmosphere with this piece - the Common Room filled with people, the restlessness before the weekend, the uncertainty between Lily and James.

There's something very elegant about it; you convey so much really simply and beautifully. It really feels like you've captured the moment between them. It's utterly adorable. :D Thanks for posting it! I thoroughly enjoyed it. :)

This is especially well done, because even though it is so short, you convey SO much... the "plot" is brief and simple, but in the details about the common room, you give Hogwarts a very distinctive feel. I hope that makes sense. Really, really good job with this. Very cute and enjoyable!
