This is a great story of when Ruby and Sam were only working for good. Maybe if she and Dean had come to better terms she would have chosen to remain with Sam rather than betray him to raise Lucifer.

I really liked this story.

Ruby's and Dean interactions while she plays on his guilt (albeit not exactly on purpose). Awesome.

It was a complete privilege reading this story.

This is the best story for Supernatural I've read so far. Not that I know the fandom that well, but it's still really good! I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Finally got the time to give this fic my full attention. You did a fabulous job with Ruby's POV here, and it was most definitely season 4 Ruby. While I think we all suspected she'd turn out to be a baddie, I agree that she really did seem to feel something for Sam, and there was definite jealousy and possessiveness going on there between her and Dean, and that definitely didn't come from Dean alone.

Loved the idea of Ruby not being able to help Sam due to the salt line, and also the parallels between Sam stuck between Dean and Ruby the way Dean was always stuck between Sam and John. You also painted Dean really harshly here, which I think rings true with the story being told from Ruby's POV. In the end, whether Ruby turned out to be a baddie or a goodie, Dean was always going to be in the way of her plans for Sam, good or bad.

That was beautiful. And so complex and thorough, and I love love love love love your Ruby. I was so disappointed when Ruby turned out to be a bad guy, because I really thought that she'd become a good guy and I really do think she felt something for Sam. It's a shame it was cut short. I also like that despite the animosity between Dean and Ruby, which was all a big part of this, they had their moments of reconciliation, and I gained a lot of respect for Ruby with the last couple paragraphs. Fantastic job emotionally with this.
