| Feng Lengshun chapter 4 . 9/5/2013 So, someone recommended this to me and really, I'm not impressed with it. The basics of romance was creating a problem, something to stand between the couple going together. There was a problem presented, but it was not elaborated. It was just suddenly solved. Ranma's Stockholm Syndrome was also not very believable. Simply put, it was just there to help them become together, not to work trying to separate them, which is the basic of Romance really. Basically, it was forced, solved too easily, and not to mention that it was padded. Contest or not, it was not a good writing. If you need 15k amount of words, then put in a story with stuffs actually amounting to 15k words instead of padding something that could be told in half or less. Also, the Suika is way too OOC. Yuugi would be a much better choice here. Subterranean Animism was released in 2008 so you could have used her. On the note of OOC-ness, read the actual transcript and Aya's Interview, or what the Touhou Community of deviantART would call as 'the Guide'. Overall, not that good. And I have a feeling that the sequel might be him becoming a Gappy Stu of some sort... |
