| QuixoticQuest chapter 2 . 5/21/2010 Okay, there are a few things I'm not entirely sure would be plausible in your story. Mainly the leaf thing- no matter how big a leaf is or how thick, I don't think it could stop someone from bleeding to death. Especially if the gash is as deep as you made it sound when you first mentioned it. Other things: 1. Herd- is not the same as "heard." Herd herd of cattle (not the same as "I heard a sound). 2. "Your alive." The "your" in this sentence is the your you would use possessively. You want to use "You're" because it's short for "you-are" shortened by the apostrophe. 3. "Where trapped here forever." The word "where" is only to be used to ask the location of a noun. The word you want to use is "we're" which is short for "we-are" -like "you're" it is shortened by the apostrophe. It might be a good idea to use spell-check so that you catch all of these minor mistakes- it will help to make your writing run more smoothly (errors tend to make readers avoid your work- so cleaning it up would definitely improve the amount of reader traffic you have).
