Overall, great story! I learned a thing or two about phantom pain while reading this. The angst and fluff was perfect, and your writing style made it all the more beautiful.

Great story! There are so few FMA stories (surprisingly) that deal with Ed suffering from Phantom Limb Syndrome, so it was wonderful to find your story, and it was handled so touchingly. It was just a bit rushed towards the end, when Ed claimed he was already okay, after only swallowing the pain pill a minute or two before, but besides that, everything fit so well with canon, it was great. (Ed would've had to have received an injection for the pain medicine to have worked that fast.). I loved how you kept Ed so in-character, as he tried to keep his problems hidden from everyone, especially Al, and then relived his guilt over his past actions. That's so Ed, but it's just sad that he has to go through so much much pain and misery. His brother does share the blame, no matter how much Ed wants to absolve him, so if he would just be honest about his problems, he wouldn't have to suffer by himself so much.

I loved the bit of sweet awkwardness between Ed and Winry at the end. It fit the both of them perfectly! Now Al is going to have something to tease his big brother with for awhile after this visit to Resembool.

lol, i liked how realistic the characters are to the anime. - nice little story. very sweet. loved the drama.
