That was a great take at the Harry dies and comes back to life story

I enjoyed your story. It is definitely different than other Reaper stories. I liked Regulus as Harry's familiar/trainer. Not enough people make use of his character. Yes, I realize he's dead, but plenty of people resurrect the Potters.

I do wish we could have had a peek at what Lord Death did to Dumbledore. Hey, sometimes we all need a laugh! Anyway, thanks for sharing your story. It was fun.

I think you mean "I'm well VERSED in protecting myself ..." Being well versed in something means you are experienced, or capable. ADVERSE means hostile, unfavorable, or harmful.

I'm glad Draco did as he was supposed to do. It really helped prevent more losses. It's a good thing Lord Death was on the spot when Dumbledore tried to kill Harry. Draco may have opted not to kill Dumbledore, but I guess it was just his time to go. At least Harry got to zing him with the fact that - while he (Harry), Sirius, and Remus (plus Regulus, unknown to Dumbledore) had managed to track down and destroy the Horcruxes - Dumbledore had basically done nothing even to try and find them during that same time. He hadn't even trained Harry to fight and was obviously upset that Harry had learned.

It's kind of sad about Harry and Luna. Lily and James are able to be together, so Harry and Luna should be, as well. Perhaps someday ...

Well, that stinks. Poor Cedric ... I guess it is just his time to go. :( Too bad Barty, Jr., himself wasn't used. If Harry had gone, I suppose Nagini and Peter as well as Moldy might have died. Bummer!

It will be interesting to see how Harry's name can be smeared in your AU, as he wasn't even at the rebirthing. I suppose Umbridge is clever enough that she and Fudge will find a way.

I'm glad to see Draco is still friendly. Has he permanently lost Crabbe and Goyle? I was surprised when Harry told him to lose them last year on the Express. That sounded a lot like the nonsense Ron was spouting (and Draco usually spouts). I wonder if Dumbledore realizes what a jerk Ron is being. Will he change this year? It will be interesting to see if Myrtle tells Harry about Ginny opening the Chamber ... assuming it IS Ginny this time. She certainly came through regarding the Diadem.

Will the first year Gryffs find Collin's body in the morning, or will it be gone, too? Or will it he be like Harry ... dead but still appearing alive? What about Dennis? I wonder how many other dead kids Harry will find this year. I wonder if Ginny us Luna's "mission" to help. Hmmmmm.

In this chapter, I read the following: "Harry walks up to the sink with the snake on it, tracing it with his fingers. If he can hear what a snake is saying then perhaps he can also speak the snake's language."

Actually, Harry already told Dumbledore he could speak to snakes that morning in Dumbo's office, when he went to pick up his schedule and Dumbledore wanted to re-sort him. He told Dumbles what the Hat said: "It also said that I would do very well in Slytherin, because of my abilities to speak to snakes." So Harry already knew he could speak to snakes.

At least your Ginny doesn't seem (yet) too enamored of Harry. Perhaps she will move on and focus on someone else this time. I wonder if Harry will free Dobby. Also, what was the fallout with Collin?

"He really shouldn't have putted it off until now." PUT is an irregular verb, and it's past tense is PUT. "Putted" is the past tense of the verb PUTT, which refers to hitting a golf ball when it is on the green, so that it goes into the hole.

You need to include some sort of section break to indicate a change of scene or time. You jump from Regulus curling up on Harry's pillow before he heads to Azkaban to see Bella ... to two days before the end of the school year. You need a line, or a row of capital letters made up of Harry's initials, a date, or even just the words "section break," so you reader has a clue.

I'm surprised Dumbledore didn't haul Harry into his office after the Feast. I figured he knew everything that happened at Hogwarts, but perhaps he doesn't. Or maybe he was just trying to provoke Harry into saying what really happened. I honestly wish Harry had taken the Stone and returned it to the Flamels. Oh, well ...

What's up with Michael Corner, Stephen Cornfoot, and Kevin Entwhistle? Are they taking jerk lessons from Ron? I'm surprised Ron knew the Densaugeo curse. That's the one that made Hermione's teeth grow in fourth year, isn't it? Your Ron is pretty much a Gryffindor version of canon Draco, although he is fairly close even in the books. Draco, on the other hand, is behaving fairly decently.

I hope Harry can convince Snape to ally with himself and Regulus ... and Myrtle, of course! ;)

Penelope is in Percy's year, which makes her a fifth year, unless you have altered her age. Tonks is rather young to be in the Order. She just graduated from Hogwarts the spring before Harry arrived, so she is only eighteen. She seems rather young for the Order, although I can imagine Dumbledore, being the user that he is, would probably be eager to exploit her Metamorphmagus abilities to his own ends. Also, she would just be starting at the Auror Academy, which might make participation difficult, if it's a live-in situation. Just an idle observation ...

"Sarah the Perfect" should be "Sarah the PREfect."

Maybe Remus and Sirius can find what remains of Harry's bones, at least, and move them to rest with James and Lily. Harry needs to make sure they know the Dursleys are dead. They are still dead, right?

The day Harry's letter comes, he watches Petunia cooking breakfast for Vernon and Dudley and thinks about how fat and unhealthy they are. He also thinks about how they seem to act like a normal family and not one who killed him.

There is something off about the timing. You have Dudley's violence and Vernon's loss of his job happening within weeks of Harry's death - he was aged five, which would also make Dudley age five - yet Dudley is only arrested for all of the beatings the day after what would have been Harry's eleventh birthday. This section doesn't make sense to me.

Be careful not to confuse wander and wonder. To WONDER about something is to think about it, question it, be amazed by it, etc. It is a mental action. (Example: Snape WONDERED about Harry's choice of reading material.) To WANDER is to move around, a physical action. (Example: Harry WANDERED around Flourish and Blotts, looking at various books.)

Draco was fairly friendly to Harry. Of course, that could be due to Snape's presence. Still, a good relationship with the Slytherins would drive Dumbledore nuts. Hehe!

Ah, it looks as if Fudge arrived at the perfect time! I'm glad Harry confronted both Dumbledore and Sirius. I love Sirius, but Harry is correct about the name calling. Really, Sirius needs to just grow up. Perhaps he and Snape could form a truce, since it seems Dumbledore has apparently lied to and manipulated both men.

"Duo: I wonder who Harry is going to be friends with." Well, unless he has devious reasons, it probably wouldn't be anyone who supports Dumbledore, which would let Ron out. Of course, he may go along with Dumbledore's "nudgings" toward Gryffindor, so that he can be on hand to capture Peter/Wormtail. Then again, he may decide to throw Dumbledore for a loop and choose Slytherin (which, btw, would be hilarious, IMO). This Harry is savvy to his plans and his penchant for manipulations, so he may try and "play" with Dumbo. I guess we'll see.

Interesting to see Fudge actually make a decision without consulting Lucius and Dumbledore.
