I guess it's jst the 'romantic' in me that makes believe that it really was love at first sight for Angel when he 1st saw Buffy. He was already skulking around since then and did his job as much as he could while keeping to the shadows. He ws also aware of her family's situation. His speech in Helpless proved that he loved her bc he saw her as his 'kindred soul' or better yet soul mate.

I hope u continue to do more fics like these! They are so enjoyable!

So cute! I love their sweet, shy phase! Things get so complicated later. I love how true to character you write them. Angel can't actually Say he cares, so he does it in a round about way.

Awe! This is so sweet! What I also love with your stories is that you always highlight Angel's senses. He is after all realistically very old and was extremely good at using his charm, his senses and so forth quite regularly for quite some time. I just really love how you use this in your first, sometimes subtley but still just enough that I notice it. :D
