Why did it have to end that was? It makes me sad, but it's such a freaking good fanfiction.

You are one of those once in a thousand writers, who can make me cry. What the Notebook and Titanic couldn't do, you could... And I salute you for that.

Okay, I gotta admit, this is one of my favorite Fax oneshots. You captured the characters perfectly, and yet it wasn't some long, boring story- it was short, sweet, to the point, and utterly amazing. And yes, you definitely captured the 'essence of the original', as you put it. I LOVE it.

(And an 'epic, sweeping love story' is probably the best description I have ever heard of the couple.)

Oh my freaking bob! Yes, you captured the esscence of the first. This was really cute. I liked how you tied in the ending with the books, despite it being so damn sad.

[Insert content sigh here.] That. Was. Beautiful. You definitely, as you put it, 'potrayed the sweeping, epic love story' that Fax really is. I absolutely loved it. It was very close to bringing me to tears. You captured Fang perfectly; that's exactly how I would expect him to think. And he LOVES Max. And he left because he really does love her. In fact, I am in tears right now. I just wish that Max would stop being so stubborn and see the deep meaning behind it all;that Fang loves her with a passionate, burning kind of love and that he left to keep her safe because he loves her. But no. All she sees is the surface of it; Fang left her.

Gah, stupid, stubborn Max. Sure, he was prancing around with Maya and was definitely showing some feelings for her, but that is because she reminds him so much of her. The same looks. The same personality. The same voice. Everything. Well, maybe not everything, but close enough. I wish both Max AND Fang would stop being such jealous arses; Fang jealous of Dyland and Max jealous of Maya. It's stupid. And it's clear that Dylan and Maya could get together... I mean, at the restaurant in ANGEL, Dylan was studying Maya, was he not? He probably realised that they could be together and Max and Fang could be together. I'm sure JP is certainly entertaining that idea. I wish that Fang somehow showed that he still loves Max in ANGEL... But, a subtle hint of it was there: The elevator scene. Max was like, "How could you not love me?" and Fang said, "Is that what you think?" Max was too angry and distracted to see it, but Fang very vaguely said that he loves her.

Sorry about that rant. I just wanted someone to know my thoughts on ANGEL. Either way, excellent story.

I like how this is after Fang (the book, I hate how the titles are the flock names now). I loved how Fang still thinks of them as five, not six :P

I absolutely believe that you caught the escence of the original! And the brush, jacket and preen parts are so adorable that I almost did a fangirl squee (but I'm a sane, just so you know, not a squeefan). Could you, maybe, do another one? I just love them!
