Good chapter! By the way, you know my last review? I just realized Catherine married Edward Seymour's son Edward Seymour and his sister Jane was the witness. Sorry, I got confused.

I'm not trying to be really technical but there's something that bugs me.

You said that the only witness to Catherine Grey's marriage to Edward Seymour was Edward's sister Jane.

Jane Seymour was the mother of Edward VI, and she died giving birth to Edward, as you obviously know.

I think that's the only sister of Edward to be called Jane.

If not, please tell me cause its really confusing me.

I love Alberta! I'm sad she'll probably have to go to another country. :(

It's been a while but it's good to see a new chapter. You sure packed a lot of information into it. Well done.

It is similar to the Tudors but with its own uniqueness, I love how you developed the charries and moved the story along. Jane is a fair queen and she surrounds herself with learned women and of her same thinking, and she is a good sister overall, I love how she reacted far better to her sister's ordeal.

Elizabeth far more cautious than her siblings and learning from her mother and cousin's experiences does not want her cousin to get hurt, Anne should thread carefully.

edward is thinking the best in terms of politics but i side with jane this time simply because spain and don carlos being as controlled by his dad will likely try to change alberta. i love jane having a healthy living girl, it is a fitting name, update soon.

Please no, no, no don't let Mary commit somethign stupid but somehow I sense that she will and her daughter will die either way, although I was hoping not to. Anyway the councilors really? Are they out of their f* minds? Pardon my French girl :) but being betroth to the Prince of Asturias, and don't get me wrong I sympathize for poor Carlos for his father was really terrible to him as well, but at this point he was not stable, yet on the other hand you could put how Carlos unlike his father was not so much a religious zealous man, and historically he did long to have a loving partner, Alberta seems to be an extremely intelligent woman but above all thanks to her stepmother she has acquired a strong sense of independence that Katherine Grey seems to have acquired as well, so maybe with that sweet, independent nature she can soften Carlos' heart and if you have him survive or have children, Spain would be a different country.

While Katherine is trying to keep her marriage and affair to Ed Seymour a secret, the sooner she tells the better.

I can't blame Jane for not wanting to see her husband's illegitimate son, after all if I were in her position I would possibly feel the same, she is not being vindictive it is just difficult to adapt, but it is nice, very nice for a change that Edward has kept no mistresses and has been by her side this time throughout this whole pregnancy.

I can't help but wander what will happen to Jane's sister, Katherine. Hmm... will she be locked up as she did during Bess I reign for marrying a Seymour who was a threat to her power and considering Katherine's ancestry. Although Edward already has a son and so Katherine's marriage would not be seen as a threat, unless of course Edward VI and Jane Grey are more angry because she married without their permission and she married the son of a man who Edward formally executed and was a traitor.

Awwww Harry is sweet I truly felt I was reading a child's mind when you wrote about him and his view of things! It was very sweet of Jane asking Edward to ask his daughter instead for her favors, though everyone is expecting Jane to give birth to another boy I too like Jane hope it is a girl since she deserves a daughter as well, she already is an excellent mother to Alby and to her own child, Harry. Love Harry again you wrote him very cute!

The moment with Barnaby and his family was cute, its sad Mary won't bring him another child but hey at least she has a loving husband and family.

I'm really anxious for more. Everything is turning out to be very interesting. And Jane had a boy! I was expecting her to have a girl and later, for some reason, be executed. I know! *looks away guiltily* Also pleased that "The Mare and the Rose" will be updated soon.

Nice story, but you might want to proofread your chapters before you post. There are many, many typos that make it impossible to understand entire sentences at times. I have the feeling you don't bother to edit before you post, which is just sloppy and makes for awkward reading. The story could be taken a lot more seriously if it was clean and beta'ed, and it would also flow much better.

So pleased that Jane had a little boy, I really thought she was going to have a girl! Now she can rest easy. I hope Margaret also has a healthy child but that Edward and Jane's relationship doesn't suffer because of it. Update soon x
