I loved this. I re-read the whole scene where Daniel and Betty finally got together, got caught by Ignacio and proposed! I love the way you write Detty! Your ability to keep all the side characters involved in their own stories and weave them in with the detty romance is amazing! I'm in awe!

Daniel's thought that Betty would find cheese fries more meaningful had me rofl. Great chapter!

Seriously, some misdirection is good but I can think of any number of ways that THIS particular deception will blow up in everyone's faces and the ones who will be the most hurt by it will be the children. Daniel, Betty, and Amanda MUST be told, soon after the NEWS is broken to them, if this horrible pain is to be prevented.
