I need to start with this; my favorite line was "The best thing about you is that you think that somehow makes it all better." Best. Mizutani line. Ever.

I feel the need to justify my lack of review to chapter one. This story is very... edgy, I guess? In chapter one I wasn't sure about the level of crudeness and the harshness of the way you write Abe (I'm still not, but...), but I've decided that since it's still fun to read, I'll give it a go. Even if it worries me a little. XD

I keep reading this over and over again! ; _ ; Makes me sad and hope Mihashi and Abe can work things through. If not then wonder if Abe would actually try and pursue what he didn't have with Haruna, but get the feeling that won't be happening. ; n ; ALL THE FEELS!

I think you have done a beautiful job with the characterization in this fic -you've really taken it to another level. It is easy to write Mihashi and Abe in a superficial way. The series itself develops their characters so nicely that it can be daunting to even try to put your own spin on things. But you did a great job -walking the line between an authentic interpretation and a boldly original one.

Your Mihashi is very introspective and emotionally astute. I think that's really canon and I think people overlook these strengths because it is so much easier to see the way his cry-baby and soft-spoken attitude overlays his inner world.

And Abe? Oh my god. He's so perfect. He's hilarious and heartbreaking at the same time. He's so intelligent, so rational, yet so blind. I'm a big fan of Myers-briggs typology, and you've made Abe into a quintessential ISTJ! Also, I think the fact that he can manipulate others by taking in their words/actions/expressions and drawing logical conclusions and yet doesn't seem to "get it" in the fundamental way is really, truly spot on. I mean... In the 2nd Oofuri season, the kid doesn't even realize he doesn't have any friends until his dad points it out. Geez, Abe.

Anyway, I'm really rambling. I don't even think I'm being helpful at this point lol. And I need to get back to Final Exams! But, but -You are an amazing writer and I needed to tell you that. Also, I lurked on your tumbler by accident while googling oofuri things. So cute!

Too many feelings are being generated by this story in my brains. The perfect characterization, general lack of spelling&grammatical errors, the flow of words and sentences, Abe's adorable/hilarious/frightening thought processes, EVERYTHING IS SO GOSHDARN PERFECT!

Can you just tell/PM me what happens? Even a vague outline like, "Mihashi and Abe learn to communicate more like normal people and they live somewhat functionally ever after as they try to win the Koshien" would help end all of the weird thoughts that I can't put into fanfiction because my writing is cringe-inducing.

This is the first time I've gone into Oofuri fanfiction, and i'm glad I chanced upon this fic. I'll admit that I don't really think they're IC, but in my case, i don't really know what IS IC, and, honestly? Your version of Haruna and Abe and Mihashi and Tajima and everyone else are just awesome and extremely fun to read.

I like how the events in this fic aren't too extreme (though they seem so since they're from Abe's POV) - like, getting beat up is bad, but you don't have something like ... torture, or something, in it - as is sometimes the case in fics. I also like Abe's take on everything, since he's so ... defensive. His interpretation of events are hilarious too, especially when compared to Mihashi's interpretation, which get a peek of in the manga.

I hope you continue working on this fic. I'd love to read the next chapter! ) Thanks for writing!

This story is simply brilliant and VERY in character...it's been a long while since you've updated, but I hope you'll eventually come back to this story, it's definately worth continuing!

Your Abe is so...gosh, awesome isn't the word...He broke my brain (and Haruna just stole my heart, really). This chapter was sweet.
