I really don't support pedophilia in the real world, it's a subject of consent, rational thinking, and a whole bunch of shit that really is not worth it. You describe it almost as a disease, as a mental illness here, and it makes me feel dirty and guilty. Your writing style is very unique and wonderful, it reminds me of Daphne DuMaurier, actually. It's loaded with symbolism and is very intriguing.

I think America should be paired with Romano. Well... not paired, but more like America won't leave him alone (won't shut up) and follows him around. But they become friends after a while, and Spain gets pissed off because America is kind of like Spain (oblivious, can't read the atmosphere) and he wonders if Romano can get along with America why can't he get along with Spain.

i had planned to go to bed after reading a few hetalia fanfics in the 'to-be-read' folder, but now i'm sure i won't be able to until i work off this nervousness (is that even a word?)

this is a MASTERFUL interpretation of Lolita with Hetalia characters. my god, you have the tone perfectly, it's just really creepy... and i don't even mean the writing style! i mean the character of Antonio/Humbert: unable to actually care about another person's pain or unhappiness - he always puts his own pleasure first, and almost manages to convince the reader that it's LOVE. or something.

i really adored Lolita, my goodness what a beautiful book, i'd totally go nuts and LICK Nabokov if he weren't dead. but i was always a bit disturbed when people often didn't see the Humbert i saw. and they were adamant that it was a beautiful romance. i thought it was scary mind-f ck.
