Awwww...I happen to like Jewel Staite, so Romana losing that form - even for one like Rose Leslie's - is a tad disappointing, though the Cyber-controlled Mat'lida must have given Romana quite the jolt to trigger a regeneration! Honestly, between this and "Survivors' Hearts", Romana and The Rani will catch up to The Doctor in just how many regenerations they will have used up before long ;)

Hmmm...Jen Keller is really Romana, eh? I love the idea, but I have to admit to being thrown off by the talk from the watch due to the snippets making it sound like the stored personality matrix is of someone like The Rani or the Master - what with all the "no...not now...not until He comes...you are still making up for past mistakes" - though I'm less than familiar with Romana during her post E-Space period when she's Galifrey's president.

I figure that she made some questionable choices that either helped touch off the Time War or helped get the conflict really rolling before the resurrected Rassilon (or was Timothy Dalton's Rassilon from the final Tennant Xmas special just named after one of the founders of Time Lord society?) took over.

Well this story is certainly interesting! :-) with a regenerated, babbling, donut liking Romana to boot! Although I am surprised an arc of electricity did her in so easily - time lords are made of quite stern stuff as a rule & have a lot of stamina! Will the Doctor appear in this eventually? ;-)

Jennifer as Romana...cool! Always did love Romana. So sad we'll probably never see her again on the show so have to comfort myself with stories like this.

Yes, i'm not surprised she doesn't like those vampire types but she showed them.

I chuckled at the fact she rolled her eyes when the guns got pointed at her. Guess that's the Doctor's fault. When you travel with him you do end up with a lot of guns being pointed at you.
