Fabulous story! I'm officially a Gadge shipper now after reading this (and its predecessors). Thank you! Lovely writing, great plot and vision of a post-CF, and good characters. As a longtime Hayffie fan, thanks for that little side relationship story, too.

So, it's been years since this was written but I enjoyed it immensely and wanted to leave a review. You changed quite a lot and most of the changes were great ( not sure about K and P but they were close enough and not too important ). G is a little more squishy but I think M could have easily managed that once the chance was there. I loved their development and I loved just how real M was. Flaws and all! Wonderful job.

Awwww I especially like the ending line and how it ties in to the title. I just love stuff like that. Thank you for the pleasurable read! I especially enjoyed the descriptions of the Jabberjay invasion scene, enough to keep me interested but not too much to mind numb me. It was perfect!

Woah, Quintus! I have to admit, I usually don't like OCs, but I like Quintus alot :)))) He and Nev are kinda cute :D

(I thought that with all the love I have toward this fic that it’d be best to finally write a review. Rather than write one for each chapter, I simply mushed everything I love into one big review. Sorry if it gets a little ridiculous.)

First of all, I love the way you portray Gale and Madge. You took their canon personalities and expanded upon them, and I think you did it well. It’s nice to see great characterization, and the two work well together. Madge especially is a dear; she’s such a sweet and caring person. Gale is very human in these stories, which is a nice contrast to what we got in the actual books. He still has the same personality, but it’s much more realistic. They finally have the happy ending they deserve! Also, I think you wrote a better MJ then Suzanne, but hey, that’s just me. :P I love how you fleshed out the background characters—especially Bristel (the best person in Gale’s harem) and Annie. Annie actually has more lines in Chapter 14 then she does in the entire HG series. Go figure.

Quintus is a delight. This Earth is a better place because of Quintus. His smile could (and will) end all wars, and puppies flock to him in droves.
Also, I’m totally in love with Nevada Rockbridge. She’s such a grump, she’s snarky and takes no shit. She’s amazing. I’d totally homewreck her and Quintus’ relationship. Nevada is mine now, fool. *evil cackling*
They’re wonderful OCs and I’m so glad you introduced to HG, and any other project you might bring them to.

Even if it’s an older piece, it’s still a great read. The drama, romance, and emotion all shine through wonderfully. Thanks for writing this amazing piece of literature and sharing it with us!

You were right. Madge is a saint and Gale is one lucky SOB to have her. I always can't tolerate when Gale acts like a Madge. And, in fact, he does it a lot. Poor Madge :( She needs more respects.
