When all is done i hope Tofu apologizes to Ranma, this wasn't even remotely her fault and he was being cruel and wicked. Stressed, worried and not knowing the circumstances? yes - but when things calm down he better apologize or i wont forgive him.

This fic has been excellent, perhaps my all time favorite, you even made me care about Nabiki which no one has managed before. I think your confused about your time line , you said Tofu shows up as a teenager to train and now you claim that he is around Kasumi age? well if Tofu was 18 when he showed up and has known the Tendo's over 10 years that would mean he is over 28 years old,Akane has mentioned that he was the family Doctor since she was a small child which would make him considerably older.

In this chapter you explicitly tell us who the antagonist is, thus answering my own question. All I had to do was backtrack. Silly me. Although I now have fresh questions.

I was looking forward to some Nyanni mischief, but it was a welcome read regardless. Although I have lost track of who Nyanni actually is-an issue shared it would appear by the entity itself. And this self doubt gave Ranma her chance to regain her own body.

I had thought that Nyanni was the main antagonist but now I am far from sure. she/he/it now seems as much pitiful as dangerous. Shiratori? At the moment her motives look inhuman rather than actively malevolent, although I wonder what game she was playing with Nabiki. I'm certain the Musk won't be nearly as comic as they were in canon and your exploration of them and their impact on the cast will be something to look forward to.

While reading I was struck by how far you have taken many of the characters beyond what they were when first encountered, let alone their manga selves. Would a charge of OOC stick? I'd argue against. In a universe so influenced by the supernatural the characters are bound to be affected and those with more exposure will show this more than others. What was more unrealistic, I think, was how the cast of the original manga were so little changed despite experiencing things ranging from the bizarre to the outright creepy.

I don't want to pre-judge what you are doing but I thought there were some fairly revealing thoughts expressed by Ranma and Ryoga , both about Kasumi and Nabiki, as well as themselves. Future chapters will reveal more. Like I said before, the characters have been stretched considerably ( and likely have further to go), but still recognizably themselves despite the strange and shocking things that have happened to them.

On the lighter side I'd enjoy a snippet or two showing Nabiki trying to manage Asuza, or how Kuno somehow got involved. Nabiki's escape will be an adventure in itself! I wonder how she reacted to Mikado attempting to kiss her familiar. She might be amused, or indifferent, or simply very preoccupied with escaping Asuza. Or she might plot a suitable revenge in her own sweet time.

More seriously, Kasumi's outlook is very uncertain and we have a reminder that the supernatural is never far from hand. Apparently Shampoo is in town and will make a move soon enough. And where she goes Mousse tends to follow.

Overall, the characters remain engaging and I'm looking forward to how you bring the different elements together. Thanks for writing.

I can’t believe I forgot about this story and how good it was. I had to go back and re-read it. When I started again, I couldn’t stop. I’ve literally wasted my one day off this week just catching up with this.

I do understand the struggle of balancing work and other real life problems (my writing is sporadic as well) but I do hope you’ll update this sooner rather than later.

I’ve been binge-reading this for at least a day now, and I’ve got to say... holy sh*t... I remember having read a bit of this fanfic before but couldn’t get passed the first chapter because I didn’t get to the part with the vial and whatnot and I thought it was going to be a fanfic where Ranma is a guy most of the time. I like fan fictions which either depict Ranma as a girl, or have him accept that he is a girl at least partner of the time and what not. And even knowing that this sort of starting turning into one of those, I almost quit reading a couple times cause of all the problems that kept cropping up, like Akane’s anger, weird cooking issue that was finally explained, etc(not all of it has to do with Akane, mind you) but for some reason I kept reading. And now I can’t KEEP reading without saying, again, HOLY SH*t... this just got deep as f*ck, and a LOT of things are becoming a LOT more clear... and sinister... I have to say, if this had been an actual arc in Ranma 1/2, there’s no denying it, it would be hands down, the most intense arc in the manga... the ending would be ruined(if it continued from then onwards more or less the same) because the Saffron battle wouldn’t seem anywhere NEAR as climactic or as much of a threat as this arc is making for Ranma, and pretty much everyone else... now I’m almost afraid to keep reading because I know, and you’ve said it multiple times yourself in the fanfiction, it’s only gonna get worse before it gets better. Mostly I’m afraid to keep reading however, because I’m afraid this isn’t a completed fanfiction yet and I’ll be stuck at the worst cliffhanger ever... please tell me this is finished, it’s WAY too good to not be. I didn’t know how much I needed this fanfiction until I started reading it again. Keep up the good work, for real! I mean, d*mn, I wish *I* was this good at the storytelling element! Or, even, you know, updating fanfiction in general... I tend to just lose motivation incredibly easily, so I myself have quite a few unfinished fanfiction that I haven’t worked on in quite a while... I have no right to tell you/ask you this, but I really really really hope this is/will be completed! This is the most intense fanfiction I’ve ever read, in a super different way than normal, which is always good, cause it means you’ve dropped most of the other cliches of most Ranma fanfiction, while still having the same characters and character traits of the original, but maiming it feel like it was tis way in the original as well, but covered up because no one was smart/observant enough to have brought them up. And now, for my closing to this long as hell essay-review: I don’t often make reviews on fanfiction, but when I do... they F*CKING deserve it, and I Bish about just how good it is! That is all, love the fanfiction, going to bed now and gonna keep reading till the end!

I'm enjoying your use of often disregarded characters, Kuno and Genma in introducing a modicum of self-knowledge they have been successfully expanded beyond their manga selves. Genma is very readable but your Kuno is great, a more realized individual who remains quintessentially Kuno, and I look forward to your take on Kodachi.

My only real criticism would be one of clarity. Much has happened in the last few chapters and some of it feels a bit rushed. Take Nabiki, in a short time she has undergone extraordinary experiences, including the irrevocable loss of her mother, losing her sense of direction, gaining an intense mental/emotional connection to another person, switched gender and also switched species(her horror of the same was well described). I can see how the latter could be( by inheriting his curse), but not the former. Is Shiratori somehow responsible? it is easy to see why both she and Ryoga would rather be a different sex than an edible animal, but there surely must be consequences for them both.

What I need, I think , is a bit more detail fleshing out the scenes. For example I cannot imagine any version of Nabiki uncomplainingly living out of a tent. Although I can certainly see a male Nabiki lounging back while a female Ryoga does all the chores. On a more serious note, as a reader I was not shown those events previously mentioned, only told about them. Such as what about when she first changed species? And then changed back, naked and shivering? It is these circumstances which must have made them so mutually dependant and brought them closer together.

Despite the above, I really have enjoyed this rare blend of drama/humour/ horror/ the supernatural/ character development and gender examination.

A few last words. Loved Asuza's hoard. Ryu Kumon may be a bit rough but he was always courteous to Nodoka in the manga. I very much like the adoption and want to see where it goes. What might Nyanni do to Nabiki and Ryoga? While I thought your early Ryoga was a bit weak, he really hit his stride after arriving in Nerima. And I haven't even mentioned Ranma and Akane, whose travails would demand an essay of their own. And where is Kasumi?

So nabiki lost her sense of direction, but can better navigate then ryoga do to her Brain power.
So she is closer to zero in terms of Direction.

As for akana I see there were Some sight Side effects to part of her soul being ripped out.
Who knows if her filling are even real or just the side effects of what happend.

As for asking Kuno for a crip to China. I always wondered why they then decide to do that in canon.
However, they must find a way for ranma to stay in girl for throughout the entire journey or conference kuno to stay home. Because, if they take a boat, then ranma is band to tern into a boy and Kuno will stop the ship until ranma trends back.

I am curious what would happen if ranma and akana jump into a spring.
Will akana even be effected by a spring considering part of her soul is there, and would jumping into her spring coses her to be fixed, or atlest leank Akana to the part of her that was separated?
As for ranma would jumping into the spring of drowned girl cause her curse to be reset to its original state, dabble lock her in girl form, or do nothing?

Lastly ranma giveing a magic bottle to a kid with out drilling in how apportent it is not to use.
Of course of curious kids will use it by drinking it, or giveing it to others. Specially considering how Easley His problems were solved.
However, this dose give us 3 good options to bring Entaro to join the story.
1.) he does it again and again on himself and others. So ranma is there to Entaro throughout the change.
2.) Entaro uses it agen and gets stuck of a girl, so ranma helps her adjust.
3.) the Enamy in China uses the leftover Botal for a new plain and entaro worms ranma, or in Target due to his proximity to the item.
You can even just have Entaro join the martial arts school.
regardles of the choice, I recommend Ranma being a master/ big sister to Entaro. This way you can explore a new side to ranma, and create seens we would normally note see with more impact added in, place this gives you a good understandable way to lounch the kid into the main cast.

I can tell genma is up set, but it was only a matter of time before ranma broke the deal. Have you seen how many deals they are unable to keep, and rash decisions that lead to trouble. What can I say the apple dose not fall far from the tree.
Case in point Genma Promised to train nabiki in a Secret technique, that would never teach, and saying to adopted a kid who he only knew existed for a day, who also threatened to kill everyone he knows.
Considering ranma is happer in her female form, likes her current life, gained a balance between the blackouts and the other soul, and mably even solved there problem. Ranma has more reason to break the promise then keep it.

As for the nabiki thing I was thinking she was planning to put her mom into a animal body. However, nabiki getting part of her other soul with the potential of magic it dose make sense to get a familiar.
Nabiki is always after the easiest and fastest way to gain information and a familiar is a good way to get it. So one would Pay attention to a animal listening in. Not to mention the added bones of having a subordinate hushed can call apron at a moments notice, and gain telepathic link to is handy.
I say ryoga would take the deal. Some familiars gain New or increased physical abilities, like increased strength or the ability to talk. The only down side is nabiki barging in on his thoughts and the possibility of becoming enslaved to her.
However, I doubt she would enslaving Ryoga, and the potential to have someone navigate him is worth the mental risk for the eternal lost boy.

As for Ryoga shipping I hope you don't do Ryoga x kasumi. It's a little strange.
I prefer a good Ryoga and akana, ranma or ukyo.

So finally learned that the water repelling spell on female ranma has been broken.
Which brings up a interesting question on what would happen if she got splashed by the pail of preservation? Would ranma be locked in a female form or male form?
On one hand if the cursed is flipped flipped the male form would be looked.
However, ranma only has a female body do to the spring of drowned girl and the item would look the magics effect.

Lastly I hope herb shows up. I think Herb is a good foil for ranma and his companions. They have simmilor fighting style, but herbs groups have added and increased abilities.
Truth be told if the ranma and herb can get over there differences I think they could be Great friends, especially in this constantly.
Ranma can get a Great teacher, and in exchange ranma can help herb except his female side and gain A companion that can truly except him/her. With both gaining someone that can truly understand their pain, and curse.
