That was really good. I love how focused you had Holmes, how you wrote his character - it was very realistic :) And I know what you mean about getting obsessive over things like this - I haven't stopped thinking about Sherlock Holmes for 3 weeks after seeing the film :P You did really well with this despite not having seen the film. A nice little fic.
