Love it so far

I loved every bit of this story. Good flow, excellent structure, spelling, AND grammar. All in all a pleasure to read.

Really enjoyed this! It packs in a lot of complicated ideas in a short and coherent space, and I like how well that works for their relationship; there's a lot going on there, but it all makes sense because put simply, they're friends.

My recent viewing of Toy Story 3 only adds to the enjoyment!

I love the structuring at the start too, flipping the attitude. Feels true to Sam. Thank you for a thought-provoking, well-written piece!

Oh and I'm an early 90s kid too, that little bit at the bottom blew my mind. I didn't realise it before. xD

Hmm. You know, I was reluctant to read this initially because of the summary. Yeah, yeah, lame of me, I know! But since your review motivated me earlier and I started writing sam, I got a bit bored about 500 words in and went "hey, let's browse!" and in someone else's favorites was this, and I went "IT APPEARS EVERYWHEEEERE. It is FATE." and so I read it!

And it was nothing like what I semi-expected it to be, although I'm not sure what I was expecting. I am left contemplative and semi sad but also lighthearted, which is really great because it really works well with what I'm writing!

But I promise I won't be stealing anything from this, even though it's fabulicious (and yes, that's a word that I use in everyday speech, not like...some weird...rude thing. I dunno. Just wanted to clarify) and it makes me happy.

On a more serious note, I really like how Sam's...like. That first bit, especially the "BFFEI" thing, and how he keeps questioning that, and questioning whether or not he really means anything to the cybertronians. I especially, especially loved the comparison between the cybertronians and Sam and the human with a bug.

I like Sam's fear. It's...so much more mature than just expecting everything to be fine and dandy, so much more real than thinking the cybertronians won't just get over him, get over the initial excitement. It felt real, and it felt organic, and it felt honest.

It's the kind of writing and characterization that I really, really appreciate, and you carried it out fabulously. I always want to appreciate any story that's good like that, but in this case, especially. I came into it, honestly, expecting something very weird, just because of the summary, and I had those expctations thrown at my face! It was a fantastic experience, and I love being proven wrong that way.

For so grandly exceeding my expectations, I applaud you, and again I have to insist that I would love to see more from you. I'm sorry for not reading this before now, especially since I've been seeing it so often!

In short: It was really, really good. 3
