Thank God for Dr. Sheldon! She's so caring and empathetic. I love how she can see through House's defensive walls and see him for the scared patient he is. Love this story.

Oh Diva darling you are so damn good at this whole writing thing I find myself tolerant of long spans of time between chapters. But please have mercy upon us lesser mortals and do update soon. The story is too good to keep us hanging for long.

It's about time Wilson started really listening to House. It only took a hole in the man's heart (how symbolic is *that*?) to make him do so.

You can really sense House's pain and fear pulling at House in this chapter. I'm glad he's got Sheldon to give him some comfort and a little support.

Ruh roh,, this is some serious operation that House needs! And you are so right,, all that medical knowledge means nothing when you're the one in the hospital bed! It's worse knowing what is going on! We need more STAT!

Glad to see another treat this evening. :) I really, really like the observant Dr. Sheldon. She seems to know the right thing to do for House (in every aspect) which often, as we know can be quite a difficult and tedious task for his allegedly close ones. The Hilson scene was so believable and IC, I didn't know whether to be angry with Wilson or not...but I think it's good he was by House's side eventually. He needed someone. Hopefully, things will get better after the sugery and Jason will be around him too, more than just a few minutes.

I really love Dr. Sheldon - she's great with House. And I'd love to see more of Jason. At this point, I'm not sure I'd want Wilson for my proxy if I were House but I guess he has to have someone (and of course Wilson has to be needed). These two need to have long talks with their respective shrinks when this is over and figure out if they can be better friends to one another. Right now they're falling back into the pattern of needy and needed.

I'm glad House admitted he needed someone there during this trying time.

It's scary to face any kind of surgery alone.
