Quoba chapter 4 . 5/5/2017
Still don't understand why is Harry Ron's bitch
blackie.chan108 chapter 1 . 5/30/2016
I know this is very immature of me

But I strangely find the title of this fanfic very funny
Mighty Pen 20 chapter 12 . 9/26/2015
There really aren't a lot of well written and interesting stories based on the 'bad guys win' scenario. This is one of the few in my opinion.

Even though the story is abandoned now, it has to be said that the finished 'book one' was a very good read. Well done.
sorry chapter 12 . 3/9/2015
This story should have gotten a lot more love
Sulphur chapter 1 . 7/9/2014
I really like this story. Dumbledore makes such a great villain.
The Dark One Rising chapter 1 . 4/2/2014
It's so... twisted. And yet, it does seem to be an accurate portrayal of what the world would've been like had Dumbledore and Grindelwald joined forces. Alternate histories are great!
Roxyblue9876 chapter 1 . 12/12/2013
I don't even know if you still write fanfiction but if you do please consider continuing this story when you're free. It is so unique.

Thank you for sharing your imagination with us all!
Tigercard chapter 12 . 11/12/2013
I LOVE YOU. Oh my God... I swear this is the best Harry Potter fanfic I have ever read, and that's SAYING something. I thought about Albus and Gellert teaming up before, but I never expected to find a story on it. Now you have me hooked! I with other authors wrote about this idea/universe, make it a fan franchise or something XD. Your pacing is perfect, i don't even know who i'm rooting for (character depththat's a good thing), and Voldemort as headmaster! I laughed so hard. I think It's wonderfully hopeless for our heroes to go against Grindlewald AND Dumbledore, because I kinda don't want Dumbly & GG to lose. I hope this isn't abandoned, I want to hear more about Riddle's plot for power and werewolf Hermione. Two questions I have are: 1 Why is Grindelwald Emperor and Dumbledore just Chancellor? They were equals. 2 Are you going to mention Dumbledore's feelings for him? I mean it is from Harry's POV so he might not pick up on anything, but? -overall brilliant. This is even more complex and interesting than the original story, both sides have interesting ideals. AD & GG aren't soulless sociopaths like Riddle, (for the greater good) they have so much more to offer. Good title choice too.
Sampaad chapter 12 . 3/8/2013
Very good story
Roxyblue9876 chapter 12 . 2/18/2013
I first read this story a year so ago. I came across again and was wondering, are you, by any chance going to continue one day? It would be a shame if you did not!

It is such an original story, even if you do not continue (I hope you do) you should be proud of it!
bittersweet65 chapter 12 . 10/26/2012
I like the story! Please continue!
Marcus S. Lazarus chapter 12 . 9/15/2012
Interesting idea, I’ll give you that for nothing.
The opening created a subtle but interesting picture of the new world you’ve created, beginning with a scene that could have originated from canon and quickly developing into something unfamiliar and chilling...
Subsequent events at Hogwarts are certainly engaging, with the characters similar to their canonical counterparts while also possessing subtle variations; the idea that werewolves are now ‘accepted’ even as muggle-borns are looked down on created an interesting hypocritical twist to this society that I’m surprised more characters didn’t think about, and the idea that ‘Dark Arts’ are now an accepted course is somehow more disturbing that the idea of Tom Riddle as Hogwarts headmaster (It could be speculated that the would-have-been-Voldemort is less interested in power now that he’s already received a prominent position, but the idea of Hogwarts teaching THAT as a course is another matter).
Still, the twistedly simple nature of Dumbledore’s new attitude and the teachings he’s encouraged regarding wizard/muggle relations is chilling in its simplicity, to say nothing of the moment when Harry begins to realise that he CAN’T agree with some of the philosophies of the Empire even if he tends to react too quickly at times.
Add in this latest twist with Lupin/Moony’s sudden ‘rampage’ and the long-term implications of his attack, to say nothing of the implications of Snape and Riddle seeking a prophecy that only Harry could touch, and I think it’s safe to say that there’s far more going on here than even the obvious problems...
However, your lack of explanation for this Harry’s attachment to Dumbledore’s views somewhat let the plot down; if nothing else, without the prophecy there would be no reason for Harry to attract any particular interest from Dumbledore, and therefore no reason for Dumbledore to have encouraged Harry to share his views on muggles (Particularly when Harry should be spending far more time with Lilly given that he LIVES with her and therefore would probably hear more from her about why muggles shouldn’t be underestimated).
I also wish you’d reference the actual DIFFERENCE between this world and the canon world at some point- the moment where the history we know diverted to become this one, you know-; was Ariana never killed in the first place, did Dumbledore just decide her death didn’t matter and/or only proved that his and Grindlewald’s philosophy of conquest was correct, or what?
Still, the truth about the weapon DOES suggest an answer to the first question, and the possible explanations for the second are certainly intriguing...
Hope you’re planning to continue this soon; it’s far too interesting to be left as it is at the moment.
viktor chapter 12 . 3/26/2012
I hope you write the story as Harry joining Dumbledore and not the order. They sound boring.
steve chapter 12 . 3/7/2012
This story has a lot of potential and the idea of albus/gellert AU is amazing. I do have one problem though : HARRY

You're Harry... to make it simple... is BORING. Yes, I know you may be trying to portray a realistic view of an 11 year old child, but to get readers to stay, you must have that "something" in your protagonist. Your Harry is simply weak and frustrating. Many reviewers here wonder why you don't get as many reviews as the other stories out there and I now I see why.

It seems you have abandoned this story, but for the sake of criticism, try to build a stronger protagonist. Readers would always go looking for that spark in a character.

You are a very good writer and I do hope you improve more :)
The Jingo chapter 12 . 2/28/2012
How very amazing! I have probably only encountered this sort of storyline once or twice before, and you've handled it splendidly.
