I'm very late coming to this story, but I couldn't finish without letting you know how much I loved it. The flashbacks were fun and rounded out everything beautifully, and I loved all the Kate & Lanie conversations. Unlike in the show, Alexis is a positive character who loves Kate and totally supports Beckett & Castle. That was a nice change of pace and definitely contributed to the loving tone of the story overall. I'm glad I ran across your work - better late than never!
