Omg just finished the first book in a whole day! Can't wait to read the second one!

Its interesting. I'll gove you that. But the oc is very... Idk just something about her bothers me. Like if she knows her brothers know, why has she not asked for their help? Like one chapter ago shes crying about not wanting to die and wanting to learn to defend herself but she does not go to her brother hiding vamp hunting shit? Does she think her weak sauce self is protecting them? Seems like they are hunters or something so ask them to help her!
Idk just not clicking. I mean the writing is good. Few errors but nothing major. And I like the quoting epic writers. I like Damon Seems in character (surprisingly very few fics keep him in character) and the brothers are a nice touch.
Just Amy is hard to relate to. Amd as its a story revolving around her I can't keep going. If it was about Luke or one of the brothers id read it.

Now that was an original way to get vampire blood into Amy's system before Katherine snapped her neck, not the usual "it was forced into her" or "she had to recover from a near death experience". And Damon after the Luke incident... such a jealous jack*ss.

Aw, the awkwardness of the first time! It's so nice to see it portrayed in fanfic.

Oh, I love that Amy had that talk with Caroline. It feels so right.

I like the records scenes, it's like watching a film, nicely vivid. And young Amy sounds so very mature for her age.

I do like the way you portray Caroline. It's so canon. And it's so... human when Amy goes all bubbly when she's nervous. I can relate.

Good to see Amy's still alive, but Damon... She almost died, she's in a vulnerable state, and he goes hand-under-shirt? He really needs to get his head out of the gutter.

Nice first date. I understand Monica's concern, no doubt she's also heard a lot about Damon, hence the warnings, but it's also interesting to see Amy get all defensive and angry. Not to mention it's impressive she managed to smile when seeing Damon, so soon after being so filled with anger.

I do like that "morning after"... sort of... awkwardness. And Amy getting more memories, nicely illustrated.

Talk about an impatient Damon. Couldn't even let the girl have more time to herself, going to Michigan to get her. But then again, would Amy have answered if he tried calling to check how she was instead?
Ah, the only-one-bed predicament. So convenient. *wink* I like that moment with Amy thinking about her inexperience and not kissing "right", it lent such realism to the scene.

Wow, Damon indirectly said those three little words. I do like Amy's decided to stay away to sort her feelings out, that's a wise move. And her aunt seems like such an understanding person.

The truth's out! How did Damon know all those little details, I wonder? I felt as if he was there, watching. And that must've been one vampire who compelled Amy, managing to do that while under the incapacitating effects of vervain.

Oh, Luke is so smitten. So is Damon. It's interesting, not having that Stefan/Elena/Damon dynamic that drove many things along. It sure is going to be an engaging love triangle between Amy, Luke and Damon. And Neruda! Beautiful choice.
