Loved this! Saw this as a recommended fic on twitter and boy was she right! I loved this story with all the undercurrents, angst, and perfectly expressed details of those undercurrents. I kept thinking he would confess that he wanted her to remain on the ship to "keep" her and they would have to deal with that fallout, but I liked the direction you went instead. Again, awesome story!

I actually found this story on Pathfinder and I have had it saved for a good while now. This story is FANTASTIC. Well, all your work is! I wish I had half this talent, so :).

My goodness this was...intense. I'm emotionally spent! I was so worried I almost didn't finish it! Wonderful Fic! Intense and so in character! Beautiful, just beautiful!

Oh my... that was intense! That's really the only word I can describe every aspect of this story. The undercurrents while Ayala desperately tries to apologize. B'lanna giving Chakotay those pointed looks. Janeway's (and everyone else's) utter exhaustion as they sat through that silly movie, trying so hard to put the day's awful events behind them. Chakotay pushing Kathryn to the edge, resulting in her slapping him. Chakotay slamming his fists against the wall. His anguish at the mental slap in Janeway's face when he revealed what he was going to do and why he was going to do it. And then how he just gave up on words and did what I (and so many others, it appears) desperately wanted him to do on the show itself. I was a little thrown off at how they could possibly remain just friends after that, but then I realized this was embellished canon,and it totally worked. I was completely riveted.
It all makes sense. Two of Kathryn's closest friends betrayed her. Even if it wasn't really them, that had to hurt. The episode's nifty little coda brushing aside such deep pain was really a disappointment. But you corrected all that (and so much more!) by writing this.
One of Voyager's greatest weaknesses was its episodic approach to writing and the missed opportunities for real character growth. But then again, that could be seen as one of its greatest strengths because it allows people to write gifts like this. I was floored and cannot wait to read it again.

I just watched Repression last night and honestly this was such an amazing addition to this episode! The emotions were spot on and the characters were thoroughly in character as to how they would have acted. One of the best stories I have read recently. This deserves a sequel. Well done :)

My heart was pounding as I read this...WOW! It's late and I certainly can't find the words to do this review justice at the moment, but I HAD to tell you how much I loved this story! The intensity of FEELING that you write with leaves me breathless at times. I am a big fan of your fanfic and I wonder...do you write professionally at all? Your stuff is sooo good!

Excellent, excellent story. I actually missed "Repressions" when it was on and just never got around to it. Somehow I think it would have been disappointing - they never would have shown the very real, very deep emotional fall out like your story did. Absolutely one of the best tags I've read to this episode. You capture their voices and personalities perfectly and it's got enough heat to leave the heart pounding at the end.

Ooh I could sooo see this. And it HURT to think beyond the typical with what happened at the end with her a Tuvok's iron-clad logic in the ep itself. Poor girl! There was also a bit you added where she commented about Chakotay getting her drunk and I had a full on flashback to Riddler's Moon (where Kate M. says to her ex boyfriend "are you trying to get me drunk?") Anyway, very very good. I liked it much!

Great job! I loved how it wasn't all butterflies and rainbows but their feelings for each other were still there. I enjoyed reading this immensely!

OMG that was one hell of a ride. I'm completely in love with this story.
