Most of these types of early marriage fics I've read are pretty straightforward and almost always have Mary giving her blessing. I love this being the different one. It really is a great show of what it must have been like for Watson being pulled between his three responsibilities (partner, doctor, and husband)...two of which were rarely in Mary's favor.

...What? That's the end? :( I really liked it, but I'm not a fan of the cliffy and not knowing if everything's better evetually or if Mary stays away or what. But yeah...really well-written, especially the medical stuff, which is hard to get down well. So yeah...I liked the fic, just not that it ended where it did. And the fact that Watson stayed with Holmes the whole time made me go awwwww. :)

This was a VERY good display of the boys' devotion to and for each other through any and all situations. Props to Watson for defending himself, and his career, against a rather selfishly-acting Mrs. Watson.

But don't have it end here! There needs to be some kind of resolution!
