This is a really powerful, well-written take on a very mysterious figure who may or may not be alive in canon. Her pain is handled really well and it's a really sad fic. Excellent writing.

what a great story! so different from any i've read on here. obviously this is a one shot, but if you ever wanted to take this concept and make it an entire story, i think it could be really interesting! keep up the great work, and i look forward to reading whatever you have for us next.

Great story, but oh so sad. I wonder what's up with Ziva's mother? They never have mentioned her, to my recollection, on the show. That seems odd because we at least know that her little sister was killed. If her mother had also died, wouldn't we have at least been revealed that much? Anyway, totally plausible and wonderfully written speculation! And I will give you soooooo many virtual cookies if/when you finish Forget Not Yet...I loved that story! You're such a great writer! :)

Wow! Powerful stuff! Interesting POV, I guess almost everyone assumes Ziva's mother is dead. (BTW, Holly Snow as a grandmother figure? A very interesting and amusing picture.) The sacrafice at the end reminds me of Michelle Lee's sacrafice. Too bad Ziva will never know.
