A really good story. I'm not sure Kakashi realize that he feel himself : he only know he need Iruka and that Iruka is his. It's more that he ever let himself have in his entire life and it had some diffficulties to admit it. Poor Iruka, it's not easy to be with an genius who is emotionally retarded...

your characterization of Kakashi is ABSOLUTELY FLAWLESS. I love it, and I think it really drives the story forward. Many KakaIru stories are destroyed when Kakashi is made to look sappy and giddy over Iru. This story is so perfect and is cohesive with the elements of the true anime/manga
