Lovely story. I loved the character of Hogan. I am glad that you included Hobson more toward the end. I think she would have been more anxious about Robbie than indicated here. The dialogue is smooth. The additional characters add much more to the story. I did think the student writing his thesis was a bit of a waste; I did think it might be him for a while, so good red herring.

Excellent story again, and yes, I do think, you should go a little more easy on poor Inspector Lewis. But, excellent read it was, really.

Great first chapter. Love the Monkford court case aspect to it.

Just one thing. Hogan is a female DI so why is Hathaway calling her Sir...shouldn't it be "ma-am" like they call Chief Super Innocent.

Hey, I'm not much of a reviewer and, to be honest, I very rarely read fanfic unless it's slash, but that was delightful! Hogan was a great OC, funny but not at all a caricature, and I can always believe in Hathaway pulling some heroics. All in all excellent characterisation, gripping plot line and assured writing style. Thank you!

I just finished reading all of your Morse and Lewis stories and wanted to say thanks for well-crafted stories that stay true to characters I love.

I absolutely LOVED this story! I only caught portions of Series 3, and I fell in love with Inspector Lewis and Kevin Whatley...Wish PBS would show more, but Sherlock is coming in at a close second...

You can write more of this, you know...I think you captured not only the flavor of the show but the accents as well! Good show, my friend! Keep writing!

This is love. Hogan is bloody marvellous, and I love the banter between her and Hathaway. And yay, Jim the hero!
