I love the detail that's put into describing Terra's struggle to manifest and maintain an orb of light, the way Aqua looks after him from behind, all of it flows very nicely. :D

I don't really read or review much but I feel like I have to on this one. This is such a gorgeous piece, full of emotion, and the dynamic you've both captured and created is incredibly powerful. I love the way you wrote everyone- they felt so real and IC to me. Love your interpretation of light, your descriptions of the spells in action, everything. It's too bad the game doesn't give us this kind of backstory stuff, but this feels like it totally could have been a part of the story. Beautifully in an almost poetic, bittersweet kind of way- Aqua's compassion and concern, Terra's struggle and persistence, Eraqus's patience and encouragement- and yet the whole time there's this foreboding, almost hopeless undercurrent running underneath...

I think you captured everything perfectly, and the end honestly touched me. Thank you for writing such a wonderful piece.
