Nice! I wonder how I didn't find this before... Not that I'm complaining, it's been a nice surprise :P

For some reason, hurting Helen was never my thing. I like her most when he is all controlled, calm and studying abnormals. Obviously it was impossible to not hurt her and Ash in a setting like this, and honestly I'm surprised how much I like the story, keeping my own bias in mind. Stuff just stays together so neatly, plot rolls on without dragging or speeding... Throughly enjoyable.

Aaaand John work just too well in here, and with Helen. I admit, I'm a bit of a shipper :) It's a difficult pairing, though, with all the Jack the Ripper stuff. Keep the demon and no relationship can exist, throw the beast out and John tends to lose so much as a character.

I admit I was hoping more John and Nikola interaction. I see how that was not the point but a girl can dream xD The thought is just so thrilling. How they spoke of each other in The Five, both seeing the other as extremely dangerous... It makes me thing that they know how easy it would be to succumb the temptations, which makes them wary in each other's company, and they watch each other and keep each other in line when they act as enemies. When they work together... oh the lines that get crossed!

I read all this story in one day, *exactly* like a book nobody can put down. It's gripping, full of amazing emotions and seemed exactly like something that'd happen in the show. Job well done. :D What I loved about this was the fact that nothing was 'perfect' - Ashley didn't arrive on their doorstep immaculate and, from then on, there were no more problems - and it didn't have to be shippy to make an impression.
I don't know whether anyone has written a sequel or whether you wrote one, but I'm sure that this one's great regardless. Thanks for posting!

This story is AWESOME! I'm serious! I loved every minute of it! the way it was written the description of the characters, it was all BRILLIANT!

I hope you do do some sort of sequel in the future. I'd love to see how Kate and Ashley will turn out: Will they be friends? or will they be enemies? DA DA DAAAA.

Great ending to a great fic I have thoroughly enjoyed reading. From the start it had me hooked and had all the elements I love about Sanctuary. I hope you write more, and sooner rather than later.

Well, I FINALLY just caught up with this thing... and thank goodness I did! It's brilliant! Love it. Love the way in the last chapter, with the cage fighting, that Ashley proved to herself she COULD stop the "monster" within. Can't believe she's "immortal" now too :O That certainly changes things!

I can totally see Ashley getting all careless because of the whole not aging thing. I know Magnus told her that she can still die, but it is Ashley and she does a lot of things that Magnus tells her not to. Could be interesting topic for a sequel...just saying. LOL

Yaay! Just what we needed, a 23 year old immortal...jokes it fits well as they were an awesome duo from the beggining and lifts the stress of out-living a daughter, good question what would Ash do? Would that make her a second protege or another head of house, head of a Bag-em' Division? What would Tesla say about another immortal?

Honestly saw Silvio previous chapter and ran with it, gad no objections to his inclusion yet being dead in canon seeing as *shock horror please excuse my ignorance but* Ashley is technically disintegratedly dead too and this whole incredible fic is based on her return, why not Silvio also?

Driutt in your fic seems to be very nonchalant yet decisive, as if he knows there's some things he can't change, only premeditate.
