I liked the begining and all but Verdona leaves without a fight? In the episode she tried to break Gwen, Ben and Kevin and here she just let Gwen stay on Earth without any other consideration else than what she said. Why didn't she fight them like in the episode?

Wrong! Ben has the same powers as Gwen. Ben not having her powers is a plot hole in the show.

personally i think it would have been amusing if both of them had 'the spark' and both got training but your ending was just as funlly (is that a word) unexpected. Great job! the ending could have used just a little more build up though it was kinda abrupt.
