I just wanted to thank you for writing one of the most realistic relationship development stories I have ever seen. It's refreshing.

Omg. Just omg, your Shepard is me, the same hairstyle and personality. Before I could read her lines in those conversations they had, I would subconsciously have a set of snarky comments my self, BUT THEN SHE HAVE THE SAME ONES, ITS FRIGHTENING. Jeez you want money for this, cuz i would totally pay you. And i really loved your OC Garrus, Im ofifcially inlove.

This is ithe/i best piece of Mass Effect fic I've read. It just rules. You're awesome. Princess Bride, Banksy, mohawks and tequila and getting your teeth kicked loose in mosh pits. You rock. \m/

Freaking awesome! Garrus and Shepard's relationship has always reminded me of me and my husband's, (You know, except without the guns and both of us being human) and this younger version of them even more so! I love the story of them knowing each other before the game starts, when they were both young and crazy. Being best friends for years and not being in a romantic relationship is something totally realistic for both of their characters (and again, totally me and the hubby!)

I can't wait to read the sequel!

Oh and the asari woman with the 8 annoying kinds cracked me up!

This by far is one of the best stories I have ever read. You literally had me in tears and re-reading sections just so I could laugh again. The visualizations are spectacular, so much so that it makes me a little sad to be nearing the end.

Oh jesus, this was beautiful. It was an exquisite emotional roller coaster that even brought me to tears when they were separated. What I loved most was how you transitioned so smoothly from the young and reckless mentality they shared to the older and mature mentality in this last chapter. It makes it very believable. I adore your Shep and Garrus as well 3

I've really enjoyed this story. It's got a very good amount of humour, and that'd be a major part I think in a fem!Shep and Garrus relationship. So good work! I'm off to read the sequel.

Stumbled across this whilst randomly searching ME stories and glad I did, really well written and enjoyed seeing a different side to Shep, the closeness with Garrus as well as the humour dotted throughout which was well complemented by sad/tender moments.

This story made me tear up a little. You really captured the poignancy and urgency of a friendship that both parties know is going to have to end one day because of circumstances beyond their control. When they met each other again, I think I was just as happy and nervous as they were. Pretty much perfect, this.
