Is it weird I was just thinking about this fic and then noticed the update? It was an awesome read, in particular the desperation you get when playing these games against bosses is captured well in writing. But I almost was taken out if it remembering Leaf is... 27? I always assumed she was late 20s. Idk I didn't think she'd feel anxiety in a battle like that but then remembering from her perspective this might be the first time she's gone up against a madman like Cyrus in a backdrop like the distortion world.

Blathers is always hilarious to read. He's paid off so well as a comic foil and its a delight to read him every time he comes back. Knuckles and Rukarios tension/how they help Leaf is still really interesting. It's strange in that I thought the two being different and having the disagreements they do would get old. But it hasn't, it just shows where Leafs influence has been on Knuckles and how Rukario probably would've raised him differently. How each helps Leaf and handles this fight is interesting too.

Oh and Cyrus... Man this is straight out of anime. But in a good way. Though I didn't expect things to turn so dark I remember that Azelfs Aura had an underlying darkness, at least implied stuff. And I weirdly got Lucario vs Cyrus but then sort of not. Idk Cyrus really is like an anime villain that lost a battle. Oh nice touch on the "say goodbye" line. I saw what you did there ;)

Finally another chapter!

I have been waiting for so long, and I was not disapointed. I've been following this fic for about two years and I love every bit of it. Please keep it up.

Excellent a Pokemon view chapter! Anyway, when Pokemon of opposite genders I quickly checked if they had compatible egg groups. Salamance and Swablus are both in the dragon egg group...I SHIP IT. Also Eeveelutions are also compatible with Lucario which is nice, I'd ship them, but I think Lucario is still a bit young.

I could totally imagine that happening to Leaf. Goes to the police and labels many reasons why they should arrest the terrorist group and comes out with squat, leaving her on the run from the blue haired cult lol . You've got to sympathize with people in these situations.
