Wow! I don't know if you are still reading your reviews, but I couldn't let this story go without telling you how amazing it was. I only review stories I am able to hear the character's voices easily, and this was effortless. This will definitely go on my favorites list and I know I will be reading it again! I love this story. I almost had to kill you when I thought Tony had died. Ripped my heart out and would have ruined the whole story for me, but great work on the suspense.

What a fantastic finale. I wont' read the alternate ending tho. So in this, when the people were going for the funeral/cloths were described, I really thought Tony had not made it.
The Gibbs Tony conversation was superb, Gibbs telling that he can't handle burying him and Tony saying not today but he can't guarantee.
The stuff about the nurse was quite funny.
Btw, this story was recommended to me by my friend Mel and I thanked her very much for recommending it as it was such a well written one and you have a great insight into the characters, even more so than the current showrunner has.

Wow, what a brilliantly written chapter where Tony's thoughts materialize through his dream and also, he hears the different members of the team talking to him. Heartbreaking! Gibbs telling him to stay sort of reminds me of the tail end of SWAK.
I do believe you when you said this chapter was so hard to write.

Hi, I think you should write professionally. I read 2 books in the last 2 weeks by well known professional authors who have had several best sellers and neither of them impacted me as much as this chapter.
I can just imagine how everyone felt in this moment.
And Tony saying he has run out of Almosts - broke my heart.

OMG, what a brilliant chapter!
Firstly, Abby doing her detour and then coming back to find a 'ground zero'.
The other woman dying and uttering her last wishes to Gibbs.
Finally, Gibbs and Tony - how powerful and heart breaking at the same time. Superb dynamic between the 2 which has been underused in the show. So glad you are using it here.

OMG, what a twist in the tale at the end.
McGee viewing the 911 recording was really good.
Gibbs' reaction when speaking to 'Abby

Very tense chapter, when the floor collapsed and Gibbs fell through.
Also, the Ziva/McGee exchange and later the Ziva, Gibbs exchange.
I really like this Ziva (as in, the way you have written her). I felt that in the later seasons of the show, Ziva was a bit different.
Love the last sentence in the chapter.

OMG, what a superb chapter.
Gibbs telling Tony off about Abby was so hard to read. But so in character with Gibbs, momentarily losing it.
Ziva telling off Gibbs was so good.
Tony reprimanding himself was so sad and hard to read also.
The McGee-Tony conversation was good.

What a great moment when McGee was trying all these frequencies and discovered Tony's response. And OMG, Gibbs' expression when he realized that both Tony and Abby were in medical danger.

You write really well. Like when McGee actually feeling envious for a brief moment at Gibbs' wrath!

OMG, what a tense chapter.
Gibbs asking in a panicked way where Tony was and Ziva's equally panicked expression when she realized he went back.
McGee talking to Gibbs about first responders and getting told off.
Tony's thoughts as he assessed his situation and then realizing why he went back.
And obviously I should have noticed this b4 but I just noticed that you wrote this b4 the season 9 finale where the headquarters blew up.
