This is just brilliant! I wish it was longer! I didn't want this story to end while reading it and when I finished it I was just... Wow. I still think about it, altough I read it some days ago. I think it is the best Star Trek fic I've read so far! I LOVE the relationship between Spock and McCoy and you wrote it so well! I especially loved when Spock told McCoy that he had used to call him a green-blooded hobgoblin etc. and that McCoy was so surprised about it. :D And I liked the fact that Spock felt uncomfortable when McCoy titled him 'Commander'. And that it was Spock who showed McCoy where everything was etc. And... I liked EVERYTHING! That was so amazing, you did a great job! Love it.

Yeah, McCoy could use a good old-fashioned slap at times. He's quite a loveable old curmudgeon.

That was beautifully done. I particularly liked Spock's matter-of-fact recitation of things McCoy calls him, and McCoy's fear that he was xenophobic rather than part of a friendship that happens to include bickering on steroids.

Huh, I never even thought about what might have happened when Dr. McCoy and Spock first met. Your take on it really sets the stage for their future conflicts. Thanks for the fic; it was enjoyable and well written.
