This is an interesting twist on the relationship that these two primes share. The concept that Sentinel acts like a jerk and a bully to Optimus to prepare him for the dark side of the path that he will take is interesting, someone has to give Optimus that little push he needs, even if it means hurting him and Sentinel knows that, the fact that he goes through with this means that he is loyal to Optimus and that he believes in him.

i really like this. i really, really like this state of mind for Sentinel. You should write more of these.

I would LOVE to see the two Primes as a couple in a future story! I always saw Sentinel as a mean bully to poor Optimus in so many other stories with him in them. To read one were he has a loving side is rare! I would love to see more stories like this one! PLEASE! I beg you! I NEED to read more stories like this one!

Hm, I really liked this. It was short, but sweet and to the point and gave us a nice perspective on Sentinel and Optimus' relationship. It's nice to think the astroid chin is actually protecting Optimus by acting like a complete jerk.
