OK HOLD UP, at the end you said that Skylar was Roxas/Sora BUT One of the paintings ( the one with the unknown broun and blode haired boys with blue eyes) Those are Sora and Roxas right, the ones old man Seifer "made up", and Skylar's like 16, shouldn't he be able to recognise himself in the painting? I NEED TO KNOW, oh and btw i fucking cried at this.

I found it! OMG. I have been looking for this fic forever. I love the way it was written. Seifer as an old man would scare the crap out of anybody and even at his age rockin the beanie? Classic. Now must press the favorite button...

Normally, I have a lot to say about a story. But this one... God you can create a whole entire movie from this material. But I digress. I would cry buckets if someone made a similar movie... *sob*

I can feel Seifer's devotion and love that transcends even death. The way he dies makes me wonder if he knew his time was coming to an end and he anticipates joining Hayner in the afterlife. God, it's just so bittersweet...That feeling isn't helped by the fact that I'm listening to 'I Remember' from 'Yobi the Five Tailed Fox'.

I also like that with the end one romance, another one blooms, as if Seifer is passing on the torch to Skylar and Lea.

The paintings themselves felt like a still life montage not unlike the opening of Pixar's Up. I couldn't stop crying for that one as well. Now that I think about it, Mr. Fredrickson and Seifer's portrayal in this fic have a lot of parallels. They're both god friggin old, they both lost their significant other, and they're both doing what said lover wants for them.

That was wonderful... I'm definitely crying.

I liked the plot on this one, but really the names did it for me [: Etymology is fun, so after having read a fic and then gotten to read how the names were derived was surprisingly a lot of fun! Thanks for this fic; it's a little morbid and depressing, but oddly cute at the same time.
