glad Sam didn't try to hurt himself, can understand Dean thinking he would, right after everything with Jess. Liked how Dean handled the situation - hehehe! Worried a bit about the nurse taking Sam away, and REALLY liked the DC reference to world's largest library. Yep, Sam's heaven :D

Nothing, NOTHING, comes after Sam Winchester when he is vulnerable enough that Dean could consider for a microsecond that he'd pulled the knife on himself and gets away with it. Nothing.

This was so sweet. :) I was really relieved when Sam wasn't actually suicidal... Because come on, these boys have enough angst to deal with as it is.

This was great! The tulku story was great but my favorite part was Dean taking care of Sammy! This is the brotherly bond that I love and am hoping to see more of in season 8!

Really great fic. I must admit that ones set during Season 1 are my faves so I adored this one! Don't know how I missed it when you first posted it, after all, it was nearly a year ago!

No wonder we all miss those earlier seasons so much. I really, really, hope we have seen the last of the head-up-the-ass/overindulged-ego/or-whatever-the-hell-the-reason general bad-idea-all-around... *breathes*... okay you get the point. Anyway, I really, really hope we have seen the last of it as of the end of last season... and that season six is truly a return to the heart and soul of the show. We all miss it. It's obvious.

Sorry for ranting a little. It justs GETS to me when I read something like this, and it reminds me of how great the show is... and how unfortunate it is that anyone would mess it up.

What I'm really trying to say is that this was a terrific fic, in the portrayal of both Sam and Dean (which is what it's all about), in the description and details, etc. Thanks for a great read!

Aw, and I loved Sam's small, "No chick-flick moments, man." Sometimes, yeah, even in the worst of moments, just the quiet feels best and it ended up being a bit funny...

Then Dean finding Sam on the floor with the blood and the knife - man, I was expecting something like this, but yet was so surprised.

Loved Dean's hands rolling up into fists as he realized what he needed to do.

Loved the 'gut feeling' and then 'Sam's guts' - fantastic!

Awesome job! Intriguing and interesting and I thought the whole Tulka/Tulpa angle was fun and creepy!
