super well-written!

This is absolutely perfect! I love this! So beautifully written with just the right amount of sensuality to leave the reader filling in the details! One of the best Daphne Hates Sherry stories that I have ever read!

OMG... Daphne Hates Sherry is my favorite episode of all and there can never be too many stories about it! I love that you've written this in Niles' POV and included what he was thinking!

I think it would have been a terribly interesting had they actually rolled in the hay that night. I read another fanfic that played around with the “what if” thought on this episode. In that fanfic, Niles actually notices to use his prescription pad and goes to fetch the thyroid meds for Daphne. So Daphne stays at his place and they end up in the sack together. The morning after Daphne realizes what a horrible thing it is for them to continue their affair since Niles is still married. If Maris was to find out, Niles would lose everything (since at that point of the series, they are not officially divorced yet). He would be cut off from his high society circles. And Daphne, who has newfound feelings for Niles, thinks it’s a price too heavy to pay for their passion. So, they continue to go on like before. Keeping that night only as a memory and a secret between themselves.

It would, in my mind, made their relationship more interesting. To make Niles yearn for Daphne all those years to come, only with the memory of Daphne’s passion to push him forward. It would have been even that much more bittersweet. Since in that night they shared long ago, it was established that Daphne actually has feelings for Niles, too. The comedy would have been there, but as Niles would be secretly loving Daphne, Daphne would have been secretly loving Niles back.

But as of this fic. It’s always a pleasure to read something this well written, but I had two issues. I wish they hadn’t gone straight to the point and secondly… Crying. Crying. Crying. Maybe it’s an American thing that I just can’t grasp, but when you are buying an apple, you don’t have to cry about it. When a guy tells you, he loves you, you have no need to cry about that either. Especially since Daphne herself isn’t in love with Dr. Crane at this point. (Mind you, she didn’t cry when Niles actually confessed his feelings for her. Only when she rejected him whilst still loving him. And THAT’S a reason to cry.) I think it’s demeaning to women and Daphne’s character to make her cry in that situation.

If you include drama to comedy, give it some room. Now it was stuffed into a, what, one paragraph? It doesn’t quite fit there. You should either stick with the comedy or expand the drama so that it doesn’t feel forced and hurried.

You had me cracking up when Niles was trying to hide his parrot. Great stuff. Keep on writing!

So sweet, and quite erotic too without going into too much detail. Very well written

I love this story so much 3 There's a distinct lack of Frasier fanfiction up, and this is far and away the best.

Oh, I just loved your interpretation. I loved the episode, but when Daphne's alarm went off I was like "what the hell? Noooo!". I swear, I reacted the same way Niles did when Frasier told him what he could have done. :P

Really, really great. Probably my favourite episode. Niles says the best things when it comes to Daphne.

I loved this! The part about the upholstery cracked me up- it was so Niles. This was so romantic and sweet and as good as Daphne Returns. Please write more. This was fantastic. :)
