That episode was rife with Stella/Mac moments in canon that would make great fan fic. And you use those as a base to put a nice twist on canon and let Stella save the day for once. I always like that.

Sadly, it would probably take something huge like this for the big dedication of love.

ok, first off, totally expected this during season 4. Felt SLIGHTLY cheated but SO glad you made iot happen, and did it totally HOT.

hoping to make that MEGAWATT smile into a KILAWATT/GIGAWAT/TETRAWATT smile. :P (I just made those up. I dont know if ANY of those work, but I'm trying here. LOL)

Now as she looks at the file in her hands, she tells herself that Mac will get what they need, they will stop this madman, the city will be free once more and in a few hours she would invite him to a private dinner and finally confess to him how much love she has for him in her heart.

of course Don would help best friends with those two, nd he can drive like a mad man lolz

AaWWWW had me almost crying one got Jess on my brain nd now just the wording was so awwwww:

"Hold on Mac," she whimpers as her eyes remained locked with his watery blue ones. "You just hold on okay...don't you dare die on me."

Stella watches as one of the officers gently peels the tape from his lips and the moving to his bound ankles, the other officer already having called for an ambulance.

"Ste..." Mac's lips open as he tries to mention name at least once.

AWWWAWW :D

"I was worried this time Mac," Stella confesses. "Thought I lost you for good," she continues as a lone tear escapes and escapes from her eye and lands on his face.

"Stella," Mac's tormented voice breaks, causing her watery emeralds to look up and lock with his loving sapphires. "I thought...so also."

"Never scare me like that again, or else," she playfully warns and his lips curl upward.

"When I was there...helpless," his voice cracks and her eyes water. "Watching him...gosh Stella all I thought was...I'll never be able to...to hold you...orkiss you or..."

"Or what Mac?" Stella asks as she leans in close once more, her lips hovering above his. "I heard what you said earlier," she confesses. And then just before he can ask, she presses her mouth against his and silences him with a firm kiss. "I love you too Mac, with all my heart," she tells him and he feels his heart skip a beat; several in fact.

"I love you Stella," he tells her in haste; one full breath that ends with a soft cough. "Sorry I didn't...tell you sooner."

"Me too," she replies as she rests on her elbow, looking down at him, her fingers tenderly stroking his cheek. "Sometimes we get so wrapped up with cases, and family and politics and everything else that we sometimes forget what..."

"Really matters?" Mac arches his brows. His hand reaches out and touches her soft cheek. His fingers move to her chin and slowly pull her mouth back to his, his lips tasting her once more. "Never again Stella."

"Never Mac," she agrees. "We'll never let another moment pass without taking advantage of what we want to."

AND i thought it waas over :D

YAY and you added a nursing line in there... that made my night

that was the sweetest, glad i took so long to read it AMAZING:

"Only throat hurts, my arms want to hold you."

"Okay," she agrees in haste as she carefully arranges herself on the small bed, carefully held in his arms her face resting beside his. "I love you Mac," she whispers prompting him to twist his head to look at her with a loving gaze before he tilts his head, allowing her hand to cup his face and another connection to be made; his lips offering one last sentiment before she silences him with the first of many hungry kisses to come.

"I love you Stella. Forever."

I rememeber reading this piece but I've only now noticed I didn't review! So I read it again and it was as thrilling and great to read as the first time! You've really done a great job here - the flow, the pace, the dynamics - everything was perfect:)

I love the way you've put a SMacked spin on the cabbie killer and having Mac as a captive instead of Reed was really interesting!

And the ending at the hospital was tremendous - the perfect mix of teasing, touching and sweet:) The perfect SMacked but I wouldn't expect any less of you:) I really loved it, thanks for the big smile:))

I was scared there, hun don't do that... glad Mac is okay and Stella is with him :)

hi! i got your message earlier. sorry i didn't review sooner had a busy couple of days and looks like you found your muse this story, update for pandora's (YAY!) and another smacked story. wow! i'll be reading those as soon as i'm finished with this. this was great as usual! no suprise there. as i've said before i hope you never lose your smacked muse! :)

Very good, as always! I really liked it and want you to continue doing the episode stories. I really want you to do Necrophilia Americana from season two. That's one of my favorite Mac episodes. Well I haven't given up on Smacked and won't until the show is over and even when it is over I will still ship them lol. SMACKED FOREVER! Oh and... SCREW CBS!

YAY for a PB update this weekend :D (I hope! lol)

Anyway, this was really sweet :) I like how you flipped it with Mac being the kidnapped one and Stella and Reed worried for him, it made for a good twist from the original episode. The entire hospital room scene was just SQUEE-tastic :D I loved every minute of it :) Hope to see more of these one-shots! Atleast if we won't have any NEW smacked moments we can re-create some old memories and make them even better with these fics ;)

That was great! Loved how you worked Claire in there. Mac and Reed have quite the relantionship. Having the cabbie actually kill another person while he had Mac to force him to watch added to Mac's torment- he couldn't do anything to stop it.

Sadly I didn't watch that episode :( Missed the start of the new season when it aired...

but anyways you did a great job with that story. I know am always saying it, but it's true :)

Love to read your stories :) I hope that the muse doesn't leave you for PB. I would be very sad about it as it's such a great story, too. But I know it's hard. For me it is, too. Am struggeling with my stories right now. Just not in the mood for writing.

I'll be waiting for any other new stories and updates for SMacked :)

well, so a nice and fast action oneshot with just the right amount of romance between our heroes, lol, I knew you couldn't stay far away from Smacked too long, and hopefully your muse will work something out on the long run and for PB. well I'm still catching up on a lot of stories so haven't got the time to read your other updates, gee I was traveling then or too tired, lol, still I'm, so hard to keep my eyes open for too long, so will read more of your work a bit later, hope it would be ok w you.

It's a different angle than the episode one. But i really did like it. And the scene at the hospital was sweet and cute.

Stella was there for him and Mac doing what the doctor says for once is like a miracle! lol
