Hahaha. That was so cute how she just blurted it out. I haven't made that much of a blunder. . . . but it has been known to happen. Their confession was adorable. . . and Shigure . . . enough said. Hahaha.

"I think you're really cute, too," he said quietly.

As soon as the words finished leaving his lips, Tohru felt her heart flutter inside her chest. It was a warm tickle that seemed to quickly spread throughout her entire body. Her face lit up in that same moment, eyes shimmering and cheeks tinting a shade of pink. They stared at each other for several seconds longer, both smiling and blushing, when all of a sudden—

"Make sure you use protection" Shigure said in a loud, sing-song voice.

They both froze up this time, although Kyo promptly clenched his hands into fists. He growled through gritted teeth as he turned his head towards Shigure.

"I'M GONNA KILL YOU!" he screamed before lunging at the older man.

"Ah! No! Have mercy!" Shigure begged, tears rolling down his cheeks as he tried to run away from Kyo.

Tohru simply smiled.

It was really cute! I love flustered Kyo. And I don't think Tohru was out of character at all. I mean, she's got to think about that sort of thing sometime. :)

I really liked this fic. It was very sweet. And not only that, but I could actually picture this playing it out in my head. Usually when I read fanfics, they seem like totally different people, so I usually imagine them differently, just using the actual character as a sort of basic form. But this was something I could definitely see happening in the actual story. You really captured their relationship and how they act, with Tohru's apologizing and Kyo worrying he upset her. Yes, it was a really adorable. Thanks for writing this and making my day!

I can totally hear your Shigure singing out from the other room like that, he's particularly good in a well-portrayed set of characters, especially when he said 'frisky', that's definitely a word Shigure would use hahahaha, love the story!

I personally don't think that you made Tohru too out-of-character since one has to take into consideration that she's not a selfless robot; she actually DOES have horomones. x3 And I could seriously see Kyo reacting the way he did. You did a really nice job at writing the characters.

I also really like the fact that you kept the amount of dialogue and describing [or whatever you call everything that isn't dialogue] pretty well-balanced. I tend to see stuff like that a lot, like with fan-fiction that's just dialogue. It drives me up a wall.

Anyway, I feel that this was a pretty awesome one-shot, dear. Thank you for putting it up! w
