I found one MINOR error, and it has to do with the color of Quatre's eyes. They're turquoise blue, not brown.

I liked this before the A-Team reference in the A/N. Then, I loved it. Why has no one crossed GW over with that, anyway? Seriously, though, I enjoyed the dark humor-somehow, I think this really is how Duo would react to a public execution. Good job!

Duo is such a perfect viewpoint character for this – I mean, really, who else is going to make the funny side of an execution so accessible :-)

That mental image is going to stick with me for a while – all of them cracking up in front of the firing squad, corpsing each other out (*winces* sorry for the pun…OK definitely been spending too much time inside Duo’s head), without ever losing track of the situation, the necessities or the possibilities. Not that anyone but a Gundam pilot would still be calculating odds and possibilities while standing in front of a firing squad.

I must admit, I even felt a fleeting sympathy for the firing squad and its commander, faced with those (insane) ‘happy, laughing children’.

Oh, and the lead in was judged just right, Duo’s ‘people watching’ letting the reader see each of the pilots responding in their own way to the seriousness of the situation…before Duo notices the camera and he and Quatre start to improvise (since their appearance offers them one more tool than is available to the others).

Wow! Attention to detail was perfect and characterization was spot-on. Loved the way you portrayed Duo and described each pilot's reaction to impending death - excellent in all aspects from Quatre's prayer to Wu Fei's meditation. My favorite part was definitely the scene with Duo and Quatre doing the whole innocent thing and then the semi-hysterical laughter. Totally OOC, but you made it seem in character becuase of how well you describe everyone's thought process. Yay!

Very amusing story! Wow knew an almost death story could be so amusing? I loved how you wrote it, and I think you kept it in very good charecter. Well done.

And you know, I think they'll make it out of there somehow...even if they don't, that's how they'd want to go, fighting to the last...

I think you caught all their personalities just right, even with the laughing. Some of them might not do it that often, but there's times all you can do is laugh...

And part of me can fully see Trieze watching this, and adding his own chuckle, and having expected it all along.

You hit on the character's personalities flawlessly, it rocked! That was just... wow. Bravo, man, bravo!
