I just dont like the way is going. Her being a mistress and Altair not honoring his wife... seems a bit out of character, but i am curious to see where this is going.
You write wonderfully and its realistic. Seems like you are on hiatus again and i hope you find inspiration and love for AC again!

Hey just wanted to pop back up here to tell you you made me want to actually finish playing the first Assassin's Creed game. So that's why I'm taking a long time to actually get past this one chapter. Lots of stuff getting in the way but I hope I finish the game soon! Love your fic, and your writing in general too. I've been taking an hour before sleeping to read your fic. It's been a while since I posted my last comment and I wanted to post one at the end of each chapter but your writing is so good! Also! I was really excited to see the massacre again since the mention of the Merchant King! I really love that one bit that goes around that one event. I don't know why tho. It is a very sad part tho... My eyes teared up while I read about that girl dying.

I love it so far. Even tho i'm not a connaisseur of Assassin Creed i'm still able to enjoy your story. Seems realistic at least to me and pretty coherent. The translation is a bit weird but I can understand makin mistakes as english is my second language. As an french speaker it was a tiny bit funny for me to read it. Hey. Just dropping by to tell you this is on of my all-time favorite fics (to the point I memorized the name lol). Some time ago I received a notification to an update and I was like "dude. This is such a good fic! I want to re-read it from the start." And that's what I'm currently doing (at 1am hurray)!
Your fic is the literal first one I ever seen to consider language barriers in fics. It definitely opened my eyes!

Very enjoyable story. I think one of my favorite things is that you’ve made this woman, who’s stuck in the 12th century, aware of propriety(?), a lot of TT stories I’ve found have the female character act just like it’s 20– whatever, with no consequences. Which were insanely harsh basically up to the 1920s. Even then sometimes it was rough

I am surprised by how well she’s adapting tho. I figured she’d have more of a culture shock going from 20– to 1191 and liberal USA society to extreme consecutive Islam society
