My choice would be sitting right behind Rhett and Scarlett eavesdropping on their reactions. They made it heaps more fun watching the movie.

i mean, i've always thought that they made scarlett the vixen, the cold-hearted woman that was mean to rhett and deserved to be almost-raped in that situation that big sam saved her.

ps: i still like vivien leigh's portrait of scarlett very much. even with the blue eyes. and bonnie is too cute to be true.

Your character voices are spot-on and I love the idea behind this story. Scarlett's running commentary is fantastic.

I just finished reading the book not more than two hours ago, and I have to say that I am amazed at how well you captured the character's voices. And the concept behind the story was brilliant, because Scarlet and Rhett both actually could have gone to the movie to see it; there was every chance that they would still be alive during the year that the movie came out. Again, BRILLIANT. And I'm glad that you kept Melanie alive. She is a character that no one in their right minds could have bad feelings for. And THANK YOU for simply adding at the end that he did come back. It does wonders for my inner shipper. Great job with this whole work, and keep it up!

This made me laugh out loud while I was reading! Thanks for writing such an enjoyable little piece. I know we all love the drama and angst of Gone With The Wind, but it's great to read some humour too. )

I especially like how Rhett suggested that Scarlett was trying to steer him in Ashley's direction in the cinema and how Scarlett knew who Adonis was because she paid attention at the mention of beautiful men. Very entertaining - nice work!

I loved that Melanie didn't die and Rhett came back in your version of the story. I've just come to recently realized that there were far too many tragedies piled up at the end of that movie/book.

damn. U read the book. And I like how u handled the meat of the plot, the main characters, seeing what the modern age made of them. Quite good.

It would be so totally awesome if Scarlett did sue them for defamation!
