This was so great! I saw a link to this story on Tumblr and I am *so* happy that I clicked it!

So beautiful! Truly enjoyed this story. My favorite was their fights actually since it made them so much more real!

Overall, I absolutely loved it. Beauty and the Beast is my favorite Disney movie, and you did a wonderful job keeping the characters flawed, but still endearing. My only complaint was that Avenant's arc was rather... how do I put it... anti-climatic? short-lived? I can't put my finger on it. However, at the end of the day, it's only a minor complaint, because 1) the focus on the story is on Belle/Adam's budding relationship post-enchantment, and 2) he did get punished in the end, and him being forced to be a father and be not so selfish for once might do him good. I was almost expecting the Enchantress to punish him next, so it'd come full circle, but the ending was still sweet.

I love your additions from The Enchanted Christmas, the good parts, especially. I'm loving all the fluff!

Somehow, though it took them 5 chapters to stop acting like idiots, I find myself simply rooting for them rather than feeling like strangling them. That's a mark of good writing :) I can't wait to keep reading!

I've been enjoying your story until now, and I just had to comment on Gaston's name. Gaston Vegetable, really? That's ridiculous, fitting and antithetic at the same time, for a big, slightly stupid, protein-overfed hunter. It doesn't sound very French for a name, even though it is indeed a French word. Still, it made me laugh

Oh my goodness, I love the last name you gave to Avenant and Gaston, although in my opinion they deserve to be worse then vegetables

And...the feels? It all felt really awkward passing over that chapter. But what happened, happened. It's a really good story and made my ovaries explode numerous times while reading it!
