Reviews for Scandal at Hogwarts

Uh, Tonks?
MuggleCreator chapter 12 . 7/2/2013
Interesting.
Hey, after all, he/ they had Teddy at least part-time in canon...
dragoon109 chapter 7 . 6/1/2013
this incident could be used to there advantage

I wondered about the 'charming' Mr. Corner. Not all surprised-he was quite fanatic about leading his gang against Harry.

But the final decision over Lizzie's daughter won't be just Harry's (though I don't know how the little baby survived when Lizzie and her parents did not).

If _Ginny_ adopts this baby, Harry isn't going to have much of a choice. If she's inherited her mum's 'there's a baby, it's going to be mine' gene, then Harry will get roped in whether he wants to or not-though I suspect that Ginny will make sure Harry wants to. Girls are good at that, sometimes.

And Harry, throughout all of canon, always longed for a family. He can have one sooner than he ever thought.

Happy to see that Slytherins and Gryffindors can unite on protecting Harry. And since the other three houses have been pretty much elininated, it will be interesting to see which Ravenclaw is the father of Lizzie's child.

Lizzie needs help, too, and I'm glad that Harry sees that. Fourteen is too young to have a child.
excessivelyperky chapter 10 . 2/11/2012
Good chapter. I feel sorry for Lizzie; someone has truly messed up her mind, and her life, for their own advantage. Even Harry is beginning to realize this, with the girl's tearful confession.

I expect Snape will make sure Ron regrets his little decision, though. I bet he's saving up horrible, ugly cauldrons for when the boy returns.
excessivelyperky chapter 9 . 1/19/2012
Oops. Well, as much as Harry complains about Hermione trying to make peace, you have to ask if he tried when Ron was mad at Hermione over Viktor Krum, or if he just hung back and let her take the heat.

Although it looks like Ron has nearly killed them all. Ron seems to be alive, and Snape, and Harry...but what about Hermione?
excessivelyperky chapter 8 . 1/16/2012
"Miss Burke made no look of relief or confusion when I misinformed her of her child's paternity."

Harry should have remembered that Snape is a Slytherin. Heh. (although I can think of several ways for Harry to be the father without his cooperation. Can you say Polyjuice? I thought you could).

I look forward to that little conference in the office, though.

And Ginny should have lost those points; hurting someone because you don't like them should not be a viable option the way it is in canon.
excessivelyperky chapter 7 . 1/14/2012
I just KNEW Ginny was going to hex the Ravenclaw girl! Of course, she probably doesn't realize (and doesn't stop to think) that the girl might not have had any choice in the matter, or has had false memories implanted.

"And like Snape, he has certain expectations thrust upon him by others and the need to act a certain way around people."

-And yet, Harry will have certain expectations thrust upon him by others in Gryffindor. I hope he realizes it.

Good chapter.
excessivelyperky chapter 6 . 12/31/2011
Poor Tonks! I'm glad that Snape is taking such good care of her, though, and that Harry actually believes that he is.

I like it very that Harry thought of taking responsibility just to see what would happen; I suspect that any offer of marriage would be refused with such total rudeness that the rest of the WW might turn against the Burkes.

I am really enjoying the growing relationship between Harry and Snape (it's good for them to be together without Dumbledore to interrupt, only out of kindness for Harry, of course-which naturally drove Snape out of his mind, and made Harry feel like he didn't have to listen to Snape).

Good chapter.
excessivelyperky chapter 5 . 12/25/2011
Since the witch that was rescued came from the Burrow, it could have been Molly, Ginny, or even Fleur, if she was visiting Bill. Given that she got in trouble for mouthing off, I suspect it was Ginny.

As for Harry, he can learn to address Professor Snape.

Say, what would happen if Harry offered marriage to Ms. Burke? (aside from him risking a serious hexing from Ginny, that is). That would be the one thing they would not expect him to do.
excessivelyperky chapter 4 . 12/24/2011
"But this is the LAST goddamn time I do anything for you!"

-Well, we all know that it's not true, or why Snape is so angry about it.

At least Harry does apologize for getting up Snape's nose, which is more than he ever does in canon.

And if Pomfrey knows that Harry gets knocked around by his relatives all the time, why does Dumbles keep sending Harry back?

But then, I wanted to know the answer to that question in the fifth book, too. What a pity that Harry never asked it.
excessivelyperky chapter 3 . 12/19/2011
I hope that Madam Pomfrey doesn't think that Snape beat on Harry, but it sounds a little bit like she does.

But of course she never actually _did_ anything to help Harry besides heal him and tell him to do things impossible in an abusive household-the one that Dumbledore keeps sending him to.

And doesn't the Wizarding World have some kind of paternity test?

Anyway, good chapter.
excessivelyperky chapter 2 . 11/18/2011
Love the Snape action against the Dursleys; one suspects he'll be returning later on to finish the job. Slytherins never neglect the finer details.

But is there some reason Snape is more than usually angry at Harry?
excessivelyperky chapter 1 . 11/10/2011
Excellent start-well within canon from what we know of the Dursleys. What a pity Harry has to wait for three weeks before he packs up and leaves-or doesn't call the cops. Child abuse and assault (aka Grevious Bodily Harm) is still illegal in Britain, last I heard.
